Nope, just the b/w. The dr. was running 1 1/2 hrs. behind, so they couldn't do it. But depending on the blood test, they said they are going to try and get me in tomorrow. They think I'm probably 8 weeks along, and since I have a history of multiples, they want me checked right away.
Still have yet to tell DH. I'm trying to hold off until after the u/s. We'll see if I make it. The nurse was pretty funny when she saw me. She said, "What on EARTH are YOU doing here?!!" I said, "I see you remember me!" She was shocked when I told her the story. When I was making the appt. for more b/w on Thursday, she said, "Let's try to hurry and get you in so your husband can actually find out at some point in time!" |

Thank you all for the positive wishes! I'm not trying to hijack this thread, I just am not quite ready to post this anywhere else, yet. I want more information from the dr., first. I guess it's all still too surreal.
I ended up telling DH last night. I brought the digital test downstairs w/ me, and sat next to him on the couch. I asked, "Do you like surprises?" He said yes, so I told him to close his eyes and hold out his hand for a surprise. As soon as I put the test in his hand, he knew what it was. He said, "Is this... oh my gosh..." and opened his eyes. He was in total shock, and immediately teared up (he's such a softy sometimes. He was very happy, though. He said, "well, this just saved us a couple thousands of dollars in fertility treatments!" We are both just plain in shock. When the doctor tells you that, with perfect timing, you've got a 1% chance of conceiving, you don't really see it happening. Especially when we weren't even timing anything! |

Sarah - I thought of you last night...you are so very lucky! I know this sounds crazy and I was talking this way when Ava was 12 weeks old but I would so love for a surprise! It would be so nice to not be planning and stressing and temping and dr-ing! I'm still so happy for you and can't wait to hear your U/s results!!
