Were your symptoms different from AF symptoms: not at all. the cramping was exactly the same. The only difference was I started cramping earlier than I usually do before I start and that I didn't spot at all like I always do the day before I get my period.

How did you tell DH: I left the test under his pillow and told him to feel under there
What was DH's reaction: shocked then happy. he swung me around

How did you tell DH: he was asleep, i walked in the room and just said "wake up wake up, i'm pregnant!"
What was DH's reaction: He just gave me a big hug, and started asking me when i was due and if i wanted a boy or a girl
How did you tell family/friends: My mom heard me crying and asked me if i was ok, i said, yes, i'm pregnant! I told my sister in church, the pastor said "go hug someone and tell them God is going to do something great today" well, she hugged me and told me that and i told her i know, I'm pregnant. No one else knows.

Are you hoping for a DS or DD: my parents want a boy, hasnt been a boy born in the family since my brother and he is 28...i had dreams even before i found out that i was pg with a girl...and based on our bd timing and ovulation, it probably will be...(if there is anything to the shettles method)

Were your symptoms different from AF symptoms: not really. Kept expecting it to come, but never did. After being 2 days late, just had to test!

How did you tell DH: On Sunday evenings, I always have a bowl of cereal. I grabbed a serving bowl instead of a regular sized one, and said, "Gotta use this bowl since I'm eating for 2."
What was DH's reaction: Surprise, quick kiss, and ran to the bathroom to look at the test.
How did you tell family/friends: We're telling them at Christmas time. For faimily, I'm making bibs for each grandparent & aunt/uncle-to-be that will be personalized. For friends, we're putting a picture with Christmas cards with dh & I with Santa hats sitting on each side of our open oven with a bun it. We'll put on it "Baking will be done around July 13, 2007."

I had this typed up a long time ago and forgot to post it .

Describe BD frequency during that month: Very infrequently compared to normal. We didn't even BD for the first 2 days of the 3 days before O that we were supposed to.
What BD position did you use: missionary, side (facing each other) and only this month decided to try doggie-style for the grande finale.
Did you use Preseed, aspirin, green tea, or other (describe): I've been taking green tea extract for a little over a month now because I heard it was good for weight loss. I also have been taking an extra folic acid pill with my prenatal for about a month now, too. Edit: I stopped taking the green tea extract at about 6 weeks when m/s showed up.
If you know the night of conception, did you have the other big O?: What's odd is that I always have the big O with Dh, but this month I couldn't buy one if I needed to. Not until 6 dpo was I able to have one again. So, the answer is no.
Did you lay down for a while, or prop your belly up? (describe): I laid down on my stomach for a few minutes and had my rear-end raised up a little (this was the first month trying this position, too)
Did you feel implantation (describe): Yes, the afternoon after I got my bfp I started to feel it burrowing in. It kind of hurt a little (but a good kind of hurt because I know it's a good thing!)
Did you get any implanation bleeding (when?): No.

What was your first symptom: I think the first one was tiredness. I slept a lot later than I had been. Then I noticed my left bb was a little sore for a couple days. I also had a metallic taste one evening.
What has been your strangest symptom: I think it was the metallic taste that showed up after dinner one night and then went away by morning and never came back.
On what dpo did you get your first symptom: 3 dpo
Were your symptoms different from AF symptoms: Yes, I don't usually have sore bbs, metallic taste, or a crampy ovary.

How did you tell DH: I sent him an email with a pic of my test and a bfp blinkie (same as I posted here on this site).
What was DH's reaction: He called me immediately and asked "is that yours?" I said "yes" and he was excited and said "See, I told you you'd get a baby."
How did you tell family/friends: After I told Dh not to tell anyone yet, he emailed his mom. Just like I told him, she told me not to tell anyone, yet because it is still too early.
What were their reactions: MIL was excited, but reserved. See above.
