I work like 1 day a week setting up visuals for a clothing store but I set my own hours and come and go as I please. So when I am at work the girls are with Daddy. I am pretty lucky that I get to stay home!

I wish I could - but we are a double income family! My job does offer flexibility of working from home several days a week! Just have to get a babysitter to help a few hours a day so I can get some work done!

I need just 6 year to retire, and then I will happily say home and be a part of my child's life.

I'm not sure yet. I would love to stay at home, but it all depends on where we are at that time. If we don't move, and I get pregnant, I could bring the baby to work. That would be great. If we move, I will either have to work, or just stay home. It looks like I will be able to stay home though.

When I got pregnant with my DD my DH and I both worked but we decided it would be better for me to stay home. It has been tough money can be tight but we sold one of our cars that way we only had one car payment and now it is paid off. I work 8 hours a week 2 nights a week as a cashier and DD is home with her Dad it gets me out of the house a little. With this baby I will also be staying home.

I don't think that I could stay home with no job. I am the type of person who has to work. I would LOVE to work from home with my baby! I am currently trying to convince my boss that I would be a great admin assistant that could work from home.....We will see how that goes! Otherwise I will take my baby with me as I travel from store to store.

I was set to go back to work 12 weeks after I had my daughter. I got home, got settled into life...and when I was alone with her, looking at her sweet little face- I picked up the phone and called my job. I told them that there was no way I could go back to work. My husband was a little surprised...but we've settled into this life nicely.

I want to try and stay at home. The only problem being that Im the main bread winner at the moment and we have a spanking new mortgage to pay off. The plan is that I start to work with DH from home, which would be great if it were to work out. Unfortunately we wont know how thats going to pan out until its happening. You never know what life is going to throw your way. So will have to keep my mind open to alternatives, even if they arent what I had planned.

I would like to but, I won't be able to.
i figure that two incomes are better then one if you want as less help from the government as possible.

Theres no such thing as benefits over here, not just for having kiddies anyway. I know that you get tax deductions, but thats it.
