The time sure has been flying. She's over 5 months now and over 35 pounds!!! Though, she does still think she's a lap dog! Wait till you girls see her halloween costume! I can't tell what it is yet, though!

Christie - She's a Charcoal Lab. Her dad is a 110 lb Silver Lab and her mom is a Charcoal (about 75 lbs). We are expecting her to be around 80 and her color will stay as it is. Here's the site to the breeder - check out the silver pups.... Oh, and Tehva's mom is in the photo gallery - second column about six pictures down.....

Hey guys! After every mission, we always get flooded with pictures taken by the astronauts and various satellites. This one went around in e-mail this morning, and I just thought it was too awesome not to share.

It's the shuttle and the space station against the sun. Really makes you feel small.

That's so awesome mere! Do you know how far away they are from the sun in that picture? I imagine its like a bazillion miles, but just curious.

Emily - well, the sun is about 93 million miles from Earth and the space station is 184 miles above Earth, so 93 million - 184 = 92,999,816 miles apart.

Give or take a mile!

Okay DH just e-mailed me again telling me he gave me the wrong numbers. (I asked him about the station since that's where he works, I mean with the station stuff, not on the station itself ) and the station is 248 miles up, not 184 (I thought that was too close)

so 93 million miles - 248 = 92,999,752 miles between the sun and the shuttle and station in that picture

Emily - I can only imagine what it's like up there. We see so much stuff after the missions, that it's just truly awe inspiring.
