Happy Labor day everyone! Hope everyone is well today. I'm off to buy a washer. We tried to fix it, it is going to cost too much to fix it. So we are just going to buy a new one.

Hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend!

Vicki-good luck with the new washer! And thanks for being concerned about me with thehurricane and all.

Cassie-hope you stay safe. I know a lot of the evacuees are coming up here.

Kelly-are your parents ok, or do they have to evacuate?

Kristy-can't wait to see pics of Emmy!

Robin-sounds like you and yoru girls had fun in the pool!

We left at 9am on Saturday for Kansas and got back last night at 2am, it was a 5hr drive each way. Avery did great on the drive, maybe just a few mins of crying when she was in the middle of sleeping. She loved playing with the 2 labs there and going in the pool (she called the pool "bath"). We are glad to be home though! It is just hard being away from home with a toddler. It was rough trying to get Avery to sleep and nap over there because she wanted to be up playing all the time so got super cranky at times.

Happy Labor Day everyone. I had all these plans to get extra house cleaning done today but as usual I am not doing that obviously!
Thanks for the welcome on the other board Judith. I really try to get on here more often but as I cannot get on from work it's very hard. I take online classes at night and sometimes my head just hits the pillow after running after Katie and homework.
Everyone who is near the hurricane my prayers are with you!

Koren - good to see you! You sound like a busy momma.

Bina - seems like my parents are OK - just lots of rain. Hurricanes like this really aren't/weren't a big deal until Katrina.

I think of all kinds of things I wanted to tell y'all, then I forget by the time I get on. Hannah is teething and a little sick, hopefully she will get over it all soon. She has been BAD lately. I'm trying to make her a "Who loves Hannah?" book before the day is over.

Kelly- Charlie is teething like crazy too. It has ruined his sleep and is making him SO cranky. I can feel 3 eye teeth poking through, 1 more about to break through, and 2 molars swollen. Ridiculous!!

OUCH all these teething babies. Aidan is too. He's up to 3 now. A top tooth popped last week and the other one is right behind.

Koren~ Thanks for the site! I keep saying to my sister that I feel like a stupid teenager, but at least I'm not alone. By the way I'm on the 4th book and just started the 3rd part and I'm like 75% NOT liking it. I could go on and on about why but I'll leave that to if anyone (you or Jenna) wanna talk about it in IM's.

Cassie~ STAY SAFE!!!!

Well we're off to a BBQ at Aidan's GF's house.

Hi all! Just wanted to say hello & let you know that you guys are still on my mind often. I pop on here randomly just to see whats new. Marissa is in dance now, and I am a manager of Wilmingtonmommies We do lots of Charity work in Wilmington, give support to local moms & attend playdates. So I am staying busy these days- not to mention I'm still working. Marissa is doing FABULOUS! Growing like a weed & amazing me each & everyday!

I miss chatting with you guys & I really need to make more time to stay in touch- it seems like just a few months ago we were all TTC & now they are just growing up waaaay too fast.

I'm gonna post a few pics of us so you guys can see my big princess.

I talked to my parents this afternoon and they said the whole parish has lost power (so we probably won't be hearing from Cassie) and they had 90mph winds and had lost some roof shingles, but nothing major was happening.

Kelly,Christie, Sarah- All these teething kids. It stinks. Mason is teething too. He has his fingers shoved in the back of his mouth all day long. Maybe 2 yr. molars coming in. Actually how many sets of molars do you get? I know he has had one set a while but he is still missing teeth & was always late at getting them. Anyone have a site on when you get what teeth?

Vicki- How did you make out getting a washer? Which one did you go for? If you need a recommendation I LOVE my washer. I've had this one 4 years now.

LG - 4.0 Cu. Ft. 7-Cycle Extra-Large Capacity Washer - White - WM2233HW

Bina- Glad Avery did so well in the car. Too cute about her calling the pool a bath.

Crystal- Marissa's picture is just adorable!!

So my niece forgot the twilight books to lend me today.

We had such gorgeous weather here for our BBQ today. It's a shame to think what people are going through with the hurricane.

Judith, here is a good chart on teeth. Jack is behind as well. He has 4 teeth on the top and only 2 on the bottom. No sign of any coming soon either.

Wow Aidan is way behind, but that's just how he rolls. Does everything in his own time.

Kristy- Thank you. That's a great chart. Mason has them all but the 2nd molars so it must be his 2 yr. molars coming in. All his teeth must have caught up I know he had a lot come in at once a few months ago and it was rough going back to no sleep. Wow only 4 more teeth to go then no more teething. Yaaaaahoo!!!!

I subjected myself to my mom all day at the BBQ and she was SO mean. No matter what I did it was wrong. I got yelled at all day for the way I open the door, the way I close the butter container, the way I sit, the clothes I wear, the way I do everything. I even got yelled at for the way Mason holds his fork!! She is planning things with my brothers family behind my back & treating them and their kids to amusement parks and WE are the ones without any income right now. OMG she has me SOOOOOOOOO mad!! Then on top of that she has the nerve to put Mason down asking what is wrong with him because his cousin that is 2 months older than him says more. 2 months is a BIG deal at this age for language. I'm sick of having to defend him to her. I think he is doing great for having obstructed sleep apnea and not sleeping the first 15 months of his life!! So I said that to defend him and she replies "Oh get over him not sleeping. When are you going to stop dwelling on that." Grrrr There was TONS more and I ready to stop talking to her again.
