Starting on Baby #1
My husband and I are both 32 (33 in a few months). We'd really like at least 2 so we figured it was time to get moving on baby #1. I also anticipate that it will take us a little longer than he's thinking... he seems to think he has champion sperm although its never really been put to the test!
We started trying after our first anniversary in April. I was on the pill until then and with only 2 very long cycles under my belt I'm getting anxious for my body to regulate so the process won't be as difficult. My second cycle was 40 days long and I took my first ever HPT 2 days before AF showed up - so I had my first real disappointment. Hopefully I won't have too many more of those! Anyway, I really didn't anticipate my own obsession with this and I'm hoping that talking to some other ladies who are going through the same thing will keep me from driving DH nuts!

Welcome, Irene! We all know exactly what you are going through! This place is a godsend. My DH is so thankful that I have a group of women who know what I'm talking about and offer support. You'll love it here.
PS- You will become obsessed  Join us in the TTC forum. A lot of us are already in the Infertility thread. Don't be afraid to jump in there, also.

Thank you all so much. I'm feeling very welcome here so far! Its great to read the success stories and see the baby bumps and nurseries but also to see the support given in those disappointing months when AF shows up. I look forward to getting to know you ladies better.

Welcome, although I think you've been on here longer than me! Just a comment- but I started this whole thing planning to keep it casual (I'm a really casual person in general) but there's NO WAY you can keep from getting obsessed about TTC! I'm in my first TTC Cycle, and I'm already going nuts! HAHAHA- it's horrible! Good luck!!!
