Hello, my name is Vicki. I have been following the forum for over a year now. The tips helped me to get pregnant with my son who was born in April. I have joined now hoping to make some new friends and to talk about many of the issues us mom's share.

I wanted to add a little about my TTC/ pregnancy story. DH and I TTC for 3 yrs with only 1 BFP, which ended in a miscarriage. I ended up pregnant with DD 2 months later. At 20 wks. along, I was put on bedrest. DD was born at 32 wks/3 days, weighing in at 2lbs. 11 ozs. She was very small, but doing good. I had multiple issues with that pregnancy.

After 6 1/2 yrs with just DD, my husband and I decided to see a high risk specialist. He ran tests, checked tests, and told us it was a several things that happened with my DD's pregnancy, but that he thought it would be safe to try again. So we got pregnant with DS#1 and I went full term with that high risk pregnancy. But the result was a healthy son. We decided to put it in God's hands again, I spent many nights praying. As well as alot of time on the computer(this is how I found this forum), and we decided to try again. The result was DS#2. Which is Ethan.

Anyway, that is my story in a nutshell. I finally decided to post, hoping it would be alright since we were not TTC.

WELCOME!!! Where in Lancaster are you? I live in Lititz. That's awesome to have someone else so close on here. I have a son who is going to be 2 next month and DH and I are trying another baby.

Val, I live in New Providence. I have a 2 yr old son also. We moved down here 8 yrs ago from N.H. and built a log home down here. We love the area. Best of luck on TTC. I know this site was wonderful when we were trying TTC the last time.

Thanks Sarah! I appreciate the welcome. Aidan lookings like he is doing well. How early was he again? As I wrote, my first was 7 1/2 wks early. Life definitely changed, but I feel so blessed to be the mother of a preemie.

Vicki~ He was a month early but he was quite small for that. He was only 4 lbs 12 oz. But I sure do love my little man!

Sarah- don't stess he will grow at his own pace. My daughter is still very small for her age. But she is growing and for the most part is very healthy. It takes a special person to be the mom of a preemie. Enjoy every moment! I know I would not trade it for the world. It took many years for me to realize how lucky I was to have a preemie. She has taught me so many lessons.

Welcome Vicki!!!! My SIL had twins at 32 weeks but they were big for being 8 weeks early they were 4 1/2 and 5 1/2lbs. They are 4 years old now and doing great!!!! I just love this board and have made such great friends!!!
