Hi,
My name is Haley and I'm 26 yrs old. DH and I have been married now for 2 years and have a 6 month old baby boy named Brady. It took us a year of trying to conceive so when he finally arrived we were overcome with joy. Unfortunately when he was 2 days old he had to be rushed to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, we found out he had a life threatening infection in his bowel called Necrotizing Entercolitis (NEC). He had a severe form and had to have surgery the next day. He stayed at Hopkins in the NICU for almost the first month and when he came home he had an illeostomy bag until he was 8 weeks old. On June 5th he had his take down surgery and was finally given a clean bill of health in July. He put us through a rough start but I would go through it all over again. That is why I'm here.....we didn't think it would happen this fast but I am now 12 weeks along into my second pregnancy. I am having so many emotions: Scared, excited, anxious, nervious....
I have been lurking for a while and decided it would be a good time to join and be able to share my feelings with people who might understand.
