I've been a member of this site for nearly a year now and it has been my greatest resource in this crazy journey....

My name is Jennifer, I'm 26 years old and I am from Alabama. I have been marreid to my best friend since June 2005. I couldn't imagine life without him. We have a beautiful new house that we built together during our engagement. I work at a college as an administrative assistant and I LOVE my job and the ppl I work with. And I have two adorable pets, a kitty cat named Killer and a bassett hound named Lulu.

My TTC story starts in August of 2005 when I decided to stop taking my BCP, they were making the nauses so DH and I thought we'd try other options... well in October when AF didn't show up so we were afraid our "other options" had caused an accident, but after taking about a million preg test and a trip to the doc we were told i wasn't preg that it was probably stress. Well Nov and Dec passed and still no AF so I went back to the doc, they ran some test and gave me some hormones to take to bring on AF. Well that didn't work, so my doc increased the dosage, still nothing.... So in Febuary she suggested I schedule an appointment with an OBGYN. I went for that appointment in March and after tons of tests were done the doc informed me that I did not ovulate on my own. I asked him about my chances of having a baby and he thought that fertility drugs to induce ovulation would be my only option of getting pregnant. Well DH and I talked about it and decided to go ahead and start taking the clomid to TTC. I took the drug for two months, one at 50mg and the second at 100mg. I got pregnant in May 2006 (while at the Beach for my Brother's Wedding).

In September 2006 we found out that we are having a little girl, her name is going to be Olivia, and she is due on Febuary 1, 2007.
