Arrow Women's Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant

Does anyone know of a Women's Deodorant? All the womens we find are Anti-Perspirants, and I'm sure you all have heard but Anti-Perspirants have cancer causing ingredients. Can anyone point us to a Women's Deodorant? She is now using Mens Deodorant cause she cant find a women's.

I know the brand Mitchum is both a Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant and it's the only one here we can find but it still has those cancer causing ingredients since its also an Anti-Perspirant .

Any help would be appreciated.

Are there any stores near you that specialize in natural/organic foods? Here we have "Whole Foods" "Wild Oats" and "Trader joes" that probably carry all natural deodorants.

Whole Foods Market : Whole Body : Deodorants & Antiperspirants

There is a section on the site to "find a store." HTH

Do they carry Tom's products out by you? They are supposed to be a good one. Here's a link:

I am in charge of deodorant at work(walmart) so I'll definitely look Saturday night. I was thinking tom's too. My store carries a lot of Tom's of Maine but i'm not sure if they all do.

Laura - LOL - yep, I do!!

Tammy - I haven't used an anti-perspirant for a couple of years because of that reason plus most commercial products contain artificial fragrance which is also harmful (artificial fragrance contains an ingredient that is used in plastics, which we know are harmful).

Toms of Main and Kiss My Face are two that come to mind. I've used both. If your local grocery store has an organic section, you may find other manufactureres like Jason, Avalon Organics etc. Also, I'm pretty sure health stores like GNC carry them as well. I know that GNC does. You may also check with your naturopath. They might carry some in their office.

Thank you so much everyone!!

I believe we do have the Tom's brand here at our organic store. I know I've seen the toothpaste before so Im sure that store wil have the other products also. I sent my MIL the info you all have posted for me today and I'm sure she will look into it and will appreciate all the info.

Thanks everyone again. I will let you know if we find it!!

The only plain deodorants i found last night were

Tom's of Maine
Arm&Hammer Essentials(supposedly its organic)
and some of the Speed Stick which is for men but has some "neutral" scents.

I got Tom's of Maine Apricot yesterday. Once I am done with my bad deodorant I will try it out. I have a thing about wasting stuff and not opening a new one until the old one is gone.
