DH and I saw POTCMC and it was REALLY good! I hadn't even seen the first one until barely last week and I loved it! I love how dainty Jack Sparrow is, it was really funny. The characters are really cool, the graphics are amazing, and I really enjoyed the storyline.

Can't wait for the 3rd one!

Lady in the Water appealed to me until I saw the longer trailor for it last night and now I am no longer interested. I'm a huge horror movie fan so I have high expectations for horror movies, but this one just doesn't look so good anymore. Im disappointed cause M. Night Shamalan (or whatever his name is) has made a couple good movies (Signs - which really scared the crap out of me and DH cause we're deathly afraid of UFO's lol) I'm really looking forward to Pulse though. Theres one part in the trailor showing this girl looking in the sky and this plane is crashing into a building and it really freaked me out cause I've been having dreams that look exactly like that!

Marci - I know you're a horror queen, too, did you know they're making another Halloween movie!

I just got out of POTCMC myself! I really liked it too. Honestly, at 2.5 hrs, I thought maybe it could have been slightly shorter, but that was due to numb-butt more than the movie itself.

I'm looking forward to #3!

I didn't even realize how long it had been until DH told me at the end. I think they made it so long to get enough information in there to prepare the audience for the 3rd one.

I'd ask if you had a favorite part, Mere, but I know theres some people here who want to see it but haven't.

Did anyone else stay until the end of the credits to see the last little part? It was really cute.

We saw Barnyard Animals today. Really Really cute. Definately a tear jerker for those TTC or Preg. The three of us were weeping. We are so pathetic!! We did laugh our butts off in the first half of the movie.

We just got back from Talledega nights and it was pretty funny. I love Will Ferrell but this was not my favorite movie by him. So much of this was way over the top.

I just saw previews for a Charlotte's Web re-make. It's not animated, with Julia Roberts as the Charlotte's voice! I can't wait til it comes out this Christmas! Bring some tissue!!

We don't make it to the theater a lot, but we watched "Eight Below" and I cried like a baby. I loved it!

Ok...I went and saw World Trade Center on opening day... all I have to say is WOW... the theatre was dead silent when it ended nobody even got up until the lights came on.... Very very sad, very closterphobic feeling...it really makes you think about what the victims really went through...

For my husband and I it was nice to finally see things from the police officers view point...not too many movies are made that reflect cops in a good light... especially when it was a real life story....

I start bawling whenever the commercial comes on. Because I met DH post 9/11 he doesn't understand how it affected us during that time, he just thinks I'm being hormonal until I remind him. DH really wants to see it but it's not happening.

Betsy, maybe him seeing it would help him vaguely understand what u went through, and how it makes you feel. I understand you not wanting to see it though, It's hard for most people to watch... I'm one of those people who wants to be reminded how truely horiffic 9/11 really was, the survival stories and acts of heroism amaze me... and I just don't ever want to forget them, I thought the movie was extremely sad, but very inspiring!

On a lighter note, I saw LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE. I absolutely LOVED it! I highly recommend it if you are into quirky movies at all. It's a great story, everyone is fantastic in it.

Sarah~

I don't know what's with me, but I saw that movie and didn't care for it. I saw that it got great reviews and everyone loved it. We saw the trailor right before we went to go see it and it seems like all the funny parts are in the trailor. I guess that spoiled it for me. DH liked it
