So I was walking through the shop in the back of our store and the jeweler had her radio on, out of which was playing 'Unskinny Bop' by Poison.

I immediately began singing and dancing for her. About an hour later, she came up and said ‘I liked that song, who was it?’ So, I introduced her to Poison, which I LOVE and adore (I am a child of the 80’s, after all). I showed her their website, and Bret Michael’s website (who I was totally in lust with for a long time). Clicked on ‘concert dates’ on his website (he tours alone sometimes in small clubs). There was a list. I scrolled down to see if San Antonio was on the list. It is. DECEMBER 17th! OMG! How’s that for a random way to find out about something at the last minute?

I saw him about three years ago the last time. He signed my boob. I walked up to him after the show and asked ‘So, still do body parts?’ He LOL and said ‘Oh yeah’, and signed one of my girls. I have pictures somewhere… Yay! Happy birthday to me!

Steph- That is so awesome! We used to go to Poison's summer tour in Pittsburgh every year. Seen so many of my favorite bands through that tour. I met Brett one year, no boob signage, but I did get to hug him. Of course that was like the highlight of my year. My favorite band to see from the 80's is Tesla. They are SO good live. Man now I wanna go.

Sarah ~ have you seen the VH-1 show with Bret Michaels...OMG! I've been watching it through my hands. I like seeing him, but some of those girls...
