Should i stop BC before i finish pack??
HI all, my husband And I just decided to start TTC I would like to start right away, because my Hubby is in the Marines and will be deployed in Jan or March and I would like to see if we could get pregnant before he leaves... i have been on BC for a year and currenlty in my pack im in week 2.... can i stop it and then have a regualr cylce next month or should i finish the pack?? do yall have any tips for me.. thanks missy

I have heard of people doing it either way, finishing a pack, or stopping mid-cycle. I was on bcp for YEARS, and chose to finish a pack, so that I knew I would have a period and could start a cycle from the beginning, especially for charting. For some women it takes a while to start a period on their own, but for others af comes back right away. When you stop taking them, you may start af right away... you just never know, since everyone is different.
