Thats incredibly disgusting. I can't believe how much I've read of stuff like this happening.

I was absolutely stunned when I had heard of a newborn baby, only hours old, had been raped by her father while she was in the hospital, in her very own room no less with her mother standing right by. The nurses discovered she had been abused when they were doing a routine exam on the baby and she was completely torn from her rectum to her vagina. It was appauling.

What is our world coming to? And why are these poor babies born to into lives where they have to suffer through things like this?

This is some very sad/SICK stuff!!! I wish there were worser punishment for people like this. If that girl does get the death penalty she doesn't even deserve to have lethal injection she should be tourtured!!! I bet if she stays in prison for a while, she'll get whats coming to her!!! SO CRAZY!

That is absolutely horrible that anyone could do that to a baby. Sometimes I wonder what God is thinking....these people are living in a motel and yet were blessed with a baby that they rape when it is a day old and yet so many other women would love to have that baby. I just don't get it.

Exactly what I thought, Kristy. So many desperate, loving women trying so hard to have babies. But at the same time, I wonder if is those same women who turn into violent killers because of how desperate they get. I understand how hard it gets, but enough to drive you to kill someone? Thats just obsession. Theres so many babies and children who need to be adopted, theres absolutely no need to end another mothers life for her child that she probably once dreamed of before. Its so sad.

The other story is just disgusting. I wish people like that could be slowly killed by being tortured. Its the men who get it the worse, other men in jail who aren't into stuff like that use them horribly. Just like they deserve.

Turns out he had sexually abused a/some girls 20 years ago and started having those feelings again, so instead of therapy he tried to kill the girls............soooo sick

An Amish community is the last place I'd expect to see something like this happen in. I agree with you Lisa. Homeschooling is sounding like a good option. My only concern would be that my kids wouldn't get enough socialization if they are homeschooled, though.

Tasha - What? Are you serious? That guy is even more of a scum bag than I thought. I'm glad he killed himself. Too bad he didn't just do that to begin with and leave those poor children alone. I feel so bad for his own kids. That must be awful to have such a sicko for a father and then to have him go and do something like that, too.

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (AP) -- Four children were found dead in a public housing complex Friday after a man walked into police headquarters and said he had killed his family.

A woman believed to be the children's mother was found wounded but alive, and was being treated at a hospital for non-life threatening injuries, police Lt. Col. Philip Turner said.

Officers sent to the apartment at the Iroquois Homes complex found the bodies of the four children, who appeared to be 8 years old or younger, Turner said. He did not release details about their injuries.

Translators were assisting police because the family had immigrated from Africa, he said.

"There are a whole lot of questions of the why," Turner said. "We don't have a clue right now of the why."

The man went to police headquarters about 9 a.m. Friday and told homicide detectives that he had killed his family, Turner said.

Osman Noor, a brother of the injured woman, said three of the children were school-age and one was in day care.

"They were wonderful children. They were happy children," Noor said.

Christina Geiger, 31, who has lived at the complex since January, said her children played with the young victims. Geiger said she hadn't noticed any problems between the woman and the man.

"I call it a senseless tragedy. That's what I think of this," she said through tears.
