Default Holiday Decorations pics

I don't have any yet since we just moved, but my village is up and I know Lauren has a huge one. So let's see them. I want to see everyone's trees and decorations. I'll post mine next week when we get to it.

Default Hey!

Thank you Ann! I got the stocking at Wal-Mart. I liked it because it didn't have the year on it so I can use it next year too. My hubby laughed at me for buying my baby boy a stocking already. I know it's kinda cheesey, but I couldn't help myself.

Leena, love the tree! Your house is so pretty.

How many lights do y'all put on your tree? I think I'm an abuser of christmas tree lights. I'll take a pic tonight and post it tomorrow.

Leena~Very pretty pictures. I love John John's stocking. I am embarrased to admit I haven't put my tree up yet. I guess I need to do that soon.

Default Hey!

Thanks girls! I didn't know if you all would think that I have lost my mind because I already got him a little stocking or not. Glad you thought it was cute too.

Emily- I can't remember if we put 250 or 300 lights on the tree. It was one of those. I don't think there is such thing as too many lights at Christmas time. I usually light my house up like the vegas strip.

Emily You can never have too many lights.

Tammi don't feel bad I havn't put up a tree either yet - but I'm using the move as an excuse. I usually do it the 2nd weekend of December anyways cause I keep it up until January 6th.

Okay, just so you can get an idea of what I'm talking about. This is the tree my dad and I did last Christmas. I think it has over 800 lights and like 200 ornaments on it. I'm so exicted to go home and take a picture of my tree! It's way littler than my dad's tree, but I still love it. I turn it on when I get home from work, sit on the couch and just stare at it.

Default Hey!

Wow Em! 800 lights, I think that would throw a circuit breaker in my house. That tree is a beauty though!

I forgot about this picture. This is my brother making bacon on Christmas morning in the snow. Outside. It was like 15 degrees outside. And yes, that is a beer in his hand.

Emily - The tree is beautiful! Do you know how tall it is? And why is your brother cooking bacon outside? It sure looks yummy! Can't wait to see your tree this year.

I posted my tree on the bfp side, but I guess I should post it here, too. Dh decorated it this year because I was feeling too sick.

Beautiful house Lauren! It just LOOKS like Christmas. The Village looks awesome too.

Wendy, my mom made my brother cook it outside. It wasn't actually on my mom's brunch menu and it makes the house so smokey and smelly so she said if he wanted it, out to the deck! He had fun though. I think he made it through three beers before he'd cooked it all. My brother is hysterical. He went through a childhood phase where the only thing he would eat for breakfast was bacon. I guess it never left him.

My dad is so funny about the rules for decorating trees. Only tiny ornaments at the top, then middle sized ornaments, and big ornaments can only go at the bottom. He's always rearranging. He hates tinsel, but we have the gorgeous antique icicles from germany that we have to count when we put on because if any of them are missing when we take the tree down he has a heart attack. He also has to tie it to the walls so the cats don't knock it over. I think that tree was about 9 ft tall, cause that's how tall the ceilings are.

Lauren - Your house is gorgeous! I love your girly tree, too. I think pink flamingos are so cute. You have such a beautiful home and family. That's so cute that your kitty is sitting in your wreath.

Default Hey!

Wendy-I already said it before but dh done a wonderful job on the tree.

Lauren-You are such a good mommy!!! I can't wait to decorate the tree & make gingerbread men with my little boy. Those kids are so lucky to have you in there lives, my stepmom hated me. So I can really appreciate how good you are. The house, tree, village, well everything looks absolutely perfect.
