Last few times I've tried changing my avatar, it just doesn't show up. Won't give me an error message or anything. Then after a few days of trying it will take.

Anyone know why that is??

Are you trying to upload it to the site or link to an offsite avatar?

I've tried it both ways. It's ignoring me.

Can you post the link to the avatar? I will try to see what's wrong with it. It could be just slow inconsistent connectivity.

I tested your avatars on a test user name and they both work fine for me. I think maybe you either didn't copy and paste the link into the right spot - which is the Link to Offsite Avatar one, or maybe Photobucket was running slow and didn't upload in time for this site to get it. I have actually put my link in the wrong spot before, so I know this can happen quite easily since 2 of the text boxes say something about being Offsite. Try it again and it should work. If you put it in the Upload from Offsite it won't work. You have to Link to from Offsite. I hope this helps.

Nope it's still ignoring me. This happened the last time I tried to change avatars too. It's wierd cause I change my avatars regularly, only since we were last hacked did I start having problems. Probably a coincidence. I'll try and reboot a little later.

Yeah it's a good idea to do that. I hope that fixes the problem. My Dh makes me turn off my computer every night. I forgot what his reason was - it had something to do with the hard drive, I think.
