Jenna - Not at ALL! I feel like my next will be a girl too. I know what you mean. This may sound really stupid for me to say but I had what the older generations call "intuition". I had a spell for several years where I correctly predicted (let's say educated guess rather LOL, not so sure about predictions) the gender of 13 babies. Every one of them was the gender that I guessed. I even guessed the birth weight of a couple of babies and I was off only by an ounce or two both times. I lost my knack for guessing the gender of other people's babies.
Yeah Christie, I really hope Lisa gives us a new BFP over here. Kelly - I know what you mean. It changes your perspective when you have a baby and you know how much you want the best for them. I most definitely want another baby, without a doubt in my mind. The timing will be God's decision. I know He will let me know when it is time. Pretty much everyone in my family thinks that I should stop with Marika but that is not fair to her. She would not have any play mates to spend time with. I am having trouble finding other babies for her to play with (I really need to set up play dates with some babies from church) and when she sees another baby she gets SO excited. I feel like she would be missing out by not having a sibling to share her life experiences with. I also don't want to be finished with experiencing PG. I LOVED being PG and I don't want to say that part of my life is over, KWIM? Anyways, sorry so lengthy but I completely understand where you are coming from.

Kayla-I agree that Marika needs a sibling! I really think siblings are a gift. I also kwym about knowing you'll have another girl, I just see myself with two girls.
Jenna-I would love to hear you sing! I have the worst singing voice ever. |

Kayla - I loved your explanation of your feelings. I think they echo mine considerably.
I knew for about 3 years that I was having a boy, and I got Hannah. Just yesterday I was saying that I hope I have another girl because I want her to wear all these adorable clothes again. So I've given up on my "feelings" - I'm still pretty acurate to others pg though, except while I was pg.

My "feelings" with Katie were wrong. I was convinced she was a boy. I think because *everyone* else said she was a girl. I was the only person who didn't think girl. So I was wrong and the world was right!

I'm one of those people who thinks they can sing (and really, I can carry a tune, I have a good ear), then I hear myself and realize I'm quite a nasally singer, and no one should ever have to listen to me. It takes a lot of reminders, though, b/c I do tend to sing out in public all the time. As for TTC, we aren't preventing, but w/ my history we know it'll take FET or IVF to conceive again, so that'll probably be next summer. I want to be done nursing and lose around 50 lbs. before getting pg, and if I have to make a lot of appointments like I did last time, it'll be easiest when DH doesn't have students around (he's an asst. principal so works year-round.) I'd love to have another 2-3 kids, but I know if I get pg again it will be the last time (DH won't want anymore.) So, maybe I'll have to have twins or triplets to get my way! |

Sarah I know what you mean about DH being done after the next baby. I would love 4 kids but since we are doing IVF again I think we are done after this one. I really only want to be pregnant with one baby but if we are lucky and get two again it wont be a disappointment and I guess the good thing would be we already have two of everything!!!

Sarahj~ If ANYONE can handle a set of twins and a set of triplets, it is YOU!!!
Kayla~ I'll try and get something recorded sometime. I'm actually singing for a cd that dh's coworker wrote music for. It's mostly spiritual songs (he's of Jehovah's witness and is VERY religious.) I don't mind doing it for him. So when we have it all recorded I'll try and post some of those. Laura~ I have to agree, you did make a very cute boy. |

Jenna - Can't wait to hear the CD. No Nathan was all boy from the very start.
Sarahj - I agree with Jenna, you are the only one that I know that could handle 2 older ones and 3 babies. Lisa - neat to think you might have 2 sets of twins. I can't sing.. I did choir in high school, I was an alto with most of the boys. Then we only had 4 sections. I still can't sing.

I've always thought I would be a mommy to all boys, but with my major pink fever right now I would love to have a girl. I will truly be thrilled either way.
Kelly- I remember how shocked you were when you found out Hannah was a girl bc you had such strong intuition that she was a boy. And what a pretty girl she is! I dreamed that Charlie was a boy 3 times before I went in for my ult. I tried to convince myself he was a girl bc I wanted to have a boy first so bad I didn't want to be disappointed LOL |
