Kristy and Lisa-I'm the oldest of four and love having a big family! I always wanted four myself growing up, but I think two will be it for us. Maybe if we had started younger...

I really wanted 3 kids initially, but now we've decided on 2 will be perfect for us. I'm ready to start trying again now, but also scared. I had a c-section with Caleb and I'm just afraid for some reason about getting a belly again and stretching out where my incision was. I'd really LOVE to have a fall baby though, so i'm thinking we'll start trying again by this December.

Dh and I definetely want 2 more. But we are waiting until Olivia is about 18 months old. We wanted to get her out of daipers and sleeping in a toddler bed before she second one arrive. And we need to figure out a way for me to stay at home.

Topazstar, the stretching doesn't hurt the scar. I had surgery to have an ovary removed (cancer) and my incision was from pelvic bone to pelvic bone. That was in June and I got preg in Sept...so three months. My scar never hurt thru the preg. It's still a little numb due to nerve damage but doesn't hurt at all.

I want to try for another but don't think DH does. Maybe in a couple of years. We always said we only wanted two, but I never thought it'd be two at once!

Lisa, tell me how that works out convincing dh for a fourth. Luckily I have a tahoe so I still have room for another baby but I don't have an empty room left in my house so someone would have to share or we would need a bigger house...but then that would require me to work full-time

I said something to my mil about the clohrine in the pools and how old they have to be, I just wanted to know for knowledge sake (Someone on Monday asked a question about how young is too young) and the MIL said to me something like " DONT you BE THINKING about another baby " OMG So what if I want another baby down the road, its so not up to her, just because she had 1 kid doesnt mean that we will, I come from a very large family & have 2 sisters myself

I just hate when family makes stupids comments like that
I will show her in a few years down the road as long as dh is aboard hehe

Like a few others, I think we will wait till CJ is about 1 and a half, then start trying...I was lucky and got pregnant the first month I tried, so hopefully that will happen again...get pregnant in summer 2008 and have a spring 2009 baby....

Dh originally wanted 3, but with the C-section and stuff he doesn't want to put me through more stress ( physical and mental) than necessary, and he is starting to realize how exoensive kids are

I would be happy with just CJ, but one more wouldn't be a problem either...I hope we do get a boy this time for DH, I know he wants a little mini-he, since I have my mini-me lol!

Amber- i had two c-sections and I am here to tell you the stretching doesn't hurt. PROMISE! Yours is still sensitive right now...

Now I will say this time I was freaked out about getting the scar reopened but it was a breeze.

As for more kids...We are through after the scare this time...Well i THINK we are. Dh hasn't gotten his vesectomy yet... I would be so upset if I ended up pregnant right now and I have to say it crosses my mind during sex.

DH and I would love a big family. We want at least 3 but maybe 4. All depends on finances and getting our house finished, etc.. We want Charlie and the next one 2 years apart so we will prob start trying next spring.

I think we are done the boys are two years apart, but on the other hand i really would love to have a little girl. I guess I'm not really sure but I do know it will be a few years before i start thinking about it because 2 little ones are hard work
