Kayla~I got out my CBEFM to start using it again because we finally decided were going to start actively TTC in a month or two. My cycles for the last 2 months averaged about 40 days so I wanted to get the monitor used to them again. I didn't even get a peak reading this month until CD 24 or 25. We BD'ed but I wasn't charting or anything so I didn't really know when I O'd. I realized today that AF was late so I thought I'd test. I NEVER expected to get a + right away since this is the first month we weren't really preventing. It took us 9 months to get pg with Cole. So that's the story.

Laura~I just tested tonight so I guess I'll call my doctor tomorrow. Believe me we are sort of in shock too.

Kayla- Glad you got what you wanted. My close friend is pg w/ #2 right now, she got pg when her daughter was 3 months!! Poor thing is going to either have just given birth or be close to it on her daughter's first bday.


Well, we had a lot o' nookie over the past few weeks (course, nothing compared to Christie, jiminy cricket!), and so far, no AF. BUT... I still bf, and w/ my history, I don't have any faith in my body, so I won't even bother testing unless something were to make me think it'd be worth it. And I really have no desire to see a bfn anytime soon. But, you never know, right?

Me: Laughing! I promise I won't keep track *crossing fingers* So I don't have to buy anymore condoms?

Girls, yall are making me blush. My DH and I go through times like any couple I guess. Sometimes it is more sometimes it is less. This TTC cycle was not normal for us.. who could keep that up? LOL Did any of you watch Oprah about men's health? One of DH's friends told him about Dr. Oz saying men "need" the release for their health some ridiculous amounts of time per month. I just laughed and told him that would NOT be good for MY health>

Sarah- Wouldn't that be a nice surprise? Is whatever caused you to need IVF something that could change on its own? I have heard many women where pregnancy "fixed" whatever their IF problem was and they had no trouble TTC after that.

Whew.. not much to update here. I am on the fence. I wouldn't be surprised one way or the other at this point. Not testing until this weekend though.

I am just now starting to get good sleep at night and I am the one who didn't sleep for 3 months straight. My DH got to sleep because he WORKS! Yeah, so I want Marika to be older first. If I knew that he would partake of the sleepless nights I would probably change my mind on the matter. But saying and doing aren't even close!
