no way! LOL...we only wanted one to start with...and now that abby is here and sooooo good, that sealed the deal! i will admit tho, i do get sad sometimes when i think about how i'm never going to experience these phases and things again...but that's why i'm cherishing every second of abby and the things she does.

We are not having anymore I had my tubes tied. My DH was very happy with 1 but I wanted Madison to have a sibling.

Tammy - I love the age difference between my girls. IMO it is just perfect.

Right now we are thinking we will try again this August just before Mason's 1st birthday. We always wanted 2 babies and I would like them about 2 years apart in age. We shall see how we feel when I get there though.

I do know I am loving these baby moments so much I definitley want to experience them again.

Mommywannabe, I actually started laughing when I read that question (not at you, but the concept) The whole thought of having another one is so foreign and distant to me. Honestly, I love my two girls, & if that is all I'm blessed with, then I'm content. I can't speak for the future, but for now, I'm done. A third high-need baby would likely send me to the grave or to the looney bin. How many would you like?

Ditto on the larger age gap. IMO, I think a 4-5 yr. gap is ideal but not always practical; plenty of people do remarkably well with only 2. Ours is 9, which I like, but it's not for everyone.

Carol - I can only imagine how you feel. This will be our first and we know we want more. I think I'd like to have 3 or 4, but DH thinks a/b paying for cars and college and doesn't think we could afford more than 2. We've talked a/b if we will do anything to prevent conceiving again (except for breastfeeding, which may or may not prevent), and we said we'll just see what happens for awhile. Once the baby gets here, though, we may change our minds. I guess it just depends on her personality.

Judith- I'm so happy to hear you say that. So does that mean your back is feeling good enough that you could do it again? I know you were worried about that.

Dh and I always talked about 4 or 5, and I really don't think that my thoughts have changed. I come from a large family and so does dh, and I'd love that for my kids. We aren't thinking about it any time soon though. I would like probably 3 years between the first two. That way I'd be through with potty training (hopefully) by the time the second one got here, and by the time we thought about any more, the oldest would be old enough to help with her little sister or brother. I do know that if we have a boy next, the following ones we won't find out the sex. As long as I was prepared for both sexes, then I wouldn't stress out about it being a surprise.

I laughed at my dr at my 4 week check up. She asked the same question, and when I said "not soon", she said she actually has women come in at their 4 week checkups and ask when they can start trying again! I told dh not to touch me for at least 6 weeks, how could you even think about sex at 4 weeks postpartum? I'm still sore and achey when we bd now! Not that Jeslynn lets that happen often. lol

We definitely want 2 children so will be TTC again. Since I'll be 32 in March I don't want to wait too long so no later than when Avery is a year old, maybe start a few months before since it doesn't always happen right away!

We still aren't really trying (preseed, scheduled bd, etc.) but I am trying to get organized to start ttc. I don't want an April baby b/c we already have so many April birthdays in our family and are usually strapped then!

I think if we're not pregnant by December/January we'll get really serious about it. I would like a fall baby this time I think, but I'll take what ever God gives us!

We are going to start trying again next summer, so I still have a year. I wanted ours about 3 years apart. One of my sisters and I are and we are GREAT friends. Not that it's a guarantee, but through school I always had her there that first year in my new school. So it was great.

We've always wanted two kids, but sometimes I think I'm ready to take on 3. Initially, we wanted to have a 3 to 4 year gap between two kids. When we're having a good day with Nate, I think I'm ready to try again. There are also times when I want to wait because I'd like to enjoy some quality time with Nate.

I know what you mean amy. I always kind of wanted them close so they could play together and form a close relationship, but then I think what about my relationship with Olivia!

I really want another baby but dh isn't as sure. I want to wait until Jack is around 18 months old and then decide.

We are not actively TTC yet but we are not doing anything to prevent either. Once I'm not BF and my cycles become regular again we'll see. I wish I could just go with the flow and not really "try" but if I need to take progesterone again then that won't be an option. I'd like to get PG between Sept-Dec for a summer/fall baby.
