Oops I posted over in the August baby chat!
So September is a big month, beginning with Oliver and Georgias 2 month doctors appointment on Weds. then my b-day and our wedding anniversary on Thurs.I am dreading the doctors visit especially since they're getting their shots!!! ![]() I don't know if i'm gonna make it but I guess I have to be strong for them. This wasn't exactly what I was expecting as far as a b-day present! |

Dana - I'm sorry that Ava is not feeling well. Hope they can get her back to her happy little self soon. ((HUGS))
Dani - I think that shots hurt me more than they did Marika. She did very well and barely cried which was a HUGE consolation for me because I felt horrible afterwards (even though the STUPID nurse laughed when Marika DID cry and that made me VERY angry

So i'm safe from having to take my babies to get their shots for two more weeks but unfortunately it's cause they both started with a really congested nose Monday night. I haven't been able to sleep too well these last couple of nights and the poor things haven't been able to eat or breath right! They got antibiotics and some drops so hopefully they'll start getting better! I hate seeing them like this!!!
Oh and as if that weren't enough I think Georgia may already be teething, I know it sounds kinda insane since she's only 2 months but she's been drooling a lot and she just seems uncomfortable sometimes. I forgot to ask the doctor though so we'll see how that goes!Last edited by dani_gtz : 09-03-2008 at 02:07 PM. |

Dani - Poor babies getting shots!
We got a diagnosis today...Ava has salmonella in her blood! They have never seen anything like it around here. Leave it to us to have a strange thing happen like this! I have to give her oral meds...but today she spit out most of it at 4:00pm and she is to get 2 doses a day. Should I give her another dose tonight or wait until morning? Just wondering since she didn't get much of the first dose since she spit it out at me? Suggestions? |

Oh, Dana! What terrible news! How in the world did she end up with that??!!?? Gosh, I wish I knew what to tell you. I would probably just give her the next dose she is supposed to get. If that doesn't seem right, maybe call the dr? I am so sorry to hear about poor little Ava. I'm glad it was caught, though!

Honestly, I really don't know how this stuff happens to us!! I just sit here all day wondering where it came from and what I could have done differently to not let this happen. I just wish I would know.
There have been way too many stressors this past week! I guess I'll give it a try. ![]() |
