Thanks for the recipe! I just bought more wipes this morning!! I'll try these out and see how they do.

Well, Dominic started "talking" to us last night. First time to hear his voice. It is so sweet. I was actually able to catch him on video this afternoon. Here he is:

Jess, thanks for posting that. I think I'll try it. Joel is allergic to all wipes except Pampers, and we go through a ton around here. That'll save a lot of money.

Another option is using cloth wipes, and throwing them in the baby laundry (assuming you wash the laundry every 1-2 days.) I had a lady make me wonderfully soft wipes (basically, they are washcloths, extremely soft), and you can use water with those. If anyone wants the info, pm me and I'll send you her info (they are cheap and well worth the money!) We stopped using them as wipes, and instead use them as bathtime washcloths b/c they are so nice.

Yeah - lots of people who cloth diaper do cloth wipes too - I think they are often made out of flannel.

The wipes I make Cj work great - just use whatever you use for their bath soap - for the baby wash ingredient ( I can even use the generice versions of baby wash - the yellow "imitation" johnson's), then you know they can already take it and won't break out. Very Inexpensive!

Hi girls,

Jo- he is too cute!!!!

I am excited to be crossing over to this side! Its so wonderful to have Jackson in my arms (& and out of my belly!)

I hada LC come out to the house today. I have been having some pain bf and wanted to make sure that I am feeding him correctly before it got worse. My SIL didn;t get help early on & has horrible cracks - so bad she had to pump for 3 days & then go back to get checked before she can bf him again.

We have a photographer coming out tomorrow to take newborn pics. I am excited, but a little stressed about getting him up & ready, getting myself up & picture ready etc. I will need lots of concealer to cover the dark circles.

Jen- G/L with the photos tomorrow. Get ready to spend a LOT on the photos. How can you pass up any of them, right? You'd better post some when you get them back.

I just posted in the lounge about a free Snapfish 8x11 photo book, if you are interested. No strings attached! I'm thinking of using my parents sign-in to get another one. Shhh...

Thanks Jo. He did so great! I am so proud of him! He was awake & alert until the very end, when we were able to wrap him up and get some cute sleepinng shots. You're right - I think we are going to want to buy all of them!

I have a great Target buy for you ladies still needing a baby car seat. They are selling their Britax Car Seat on sale for $42.99 down from....GET THIS...$237!! You read that right! I'm not sure what the hub-ub is, but the reviews are wonderful on this car seat and it seems to be among THE safest seats, so I ordered one. Just thought I'd let you guys know. Don't know how long they will be on sale. Here's the link:

Kanieka - Bummer!!

Question for the moms out there - my hands/knuckles swelled during pg so I couldn;t wear my wedding rings. The swelling in my fingers has gone down, but my knuckles are still too big to get the rings on. Any idea how long this will last? I miss wearing my rings!

If I remember correctly, it took about 3-4 weeks.

Kanieka/Jo~ You should call Target & complain. I bet they will honor the price they advertised if you are persistent with it!
