Tammy - She is a stinker She gets about 8 ozs of milk in her bottle at night. She probably gets anohter 4-8 oz of milk during the day in the sippy but sometimes she doesn't drink it all which is okay with me because she has had some problems adjusting to milk too. I am not really sure how much she drinks during the day her sippy holds about 10 ozs and I fill that up at least 3 times a day. She only has maybe 2-4ozs of juice a day and that is mixed in with the water I normally fill the sippy up with mostly water and just put a splash of juice because miss smarty pants won't drink it unless she sees me put juice in it I have even pretended to juice in it and she will drink it as long as she sees me at the fridge. Yes she is spoiled. There are some days she doesn't drink much but for the most part is has at least 30 ozs of water a day. How much is Alyssa drinking now of water/juice?

Alyssa might drink around 7 oz of water a day but that is about it, I might fill her 8oz cup up twice and the 2nd time might have half left in it , I try to give her some juice diluted with water but she doesnt like the taste, so If i do add anything to her water it is the flavored water, just a splash though, today she drank some of my juice box. i forgot it was on the table and I was in here on the pc and turn around and she has squeezed most of it all over the carpet and all over the kitchen floor and it was all running down her but she liked it, its really hard making sure she gets a lot of water etc during the day, I cant force her but for the most part she wants what im drinking so that is good too, its just going to take sometime

she went from hating water to now she will drink it up! i give it to her especially with her solid food meals...but she still can't stand juice...oh well, can't say that i'm too upset about that

The last 2 days she hasnt wanted to eat very much, and like before bed tonight I did feed her etc, and gave her a snack, but she drank 12oz of formula before she was happy

yesterday abby only had 14oz of formula...went to sleep on 3 oz and slept for 11 hrs today tho she drank 22 or 23oz of formula. what the?!?

Lauren - When Lela was Abby's age I was happy if she took a sips of water lol.

I bet this is scary for you to read about all the babies having a hard time adjusting to the milk at least you know what to expect now

Tammy - That would be great if you could post that!!! Thanks. With all the water she does drink that is why she is waking up almost every moring drenched. I even went up a size in diapers and it isn't working so I think I am going to buy overnight diapers. I am getting tired of all the laundry lol.

Rhylee doesn't drink much formula these days either...ever since she's getting 3 meals a day. I told the pedi that she only gets maybe 16 oz of formula and she didn't say it was good/bad...or to change anything .

Robin - that must have been so scary! I am SO glad that she is ok. You may want to ask, but I don't think you are supposed to put burns under cold water or put cold on them.

my dr didnt tell me starting at 9 months to reverse milk then food, to food then milk if he did I think things would be different around here and I sort of resent him for that
