Robin thanks for the info, I just dont know what to do, she has had only 6oz of milk so far today the rest, food, water & formula but Im bringing 3oz of milk for her to drink with her cake. I just cant see my baby in pain like this, she drinks WAY TOO much & this weening is torture

Does lela like cold milk? Alyssa loves it! I just feel so helpless though

Just popping in! I have had a congested sick baby for about 2 weeks now. Doing breathing treatments for allergies now. She is getting better but mommy is tired. I am still getting up once per night for 8 weeks straight now. I am so tired! She stayed with grandma last night and it was hard but I finally slept all night. I hope all is well and babies are thriving. She has two new teeth on the bottom. They came at the same time. I will pop in soon when I return to a computer.

So good with her treatments!

Thanks, Tammy! DH remembered to tell me Happy Anniversary when I was feeding Hannah at 5am. We are going out to a nice dinner tonight and drinking the wine we bought our anniversary vacation last year. Have fun at the party. Is Canada Day like the 4th of July is here?

Melissa - so sorry Syrinna is sick. Any luck on the job search?

Missy - Hannah will sometimes nap in the crib, maybe once/day, but she usually doesn't sleep as long there as she will in our bed or the pack n play. I probably need to put her in with a blanket that's been with us.

Lisa - So glad Molly's feeling better. And that's great that Mia's getting into a good routine. Hannah is sleeping one six hour stretch, then back to sleep for another 3-4, but I really need to start getting her on the feeding schedule she will need to be on when I go back to work. Are you going back to work in the fall?

Tammy, we only get one day. All day on the 4 th there is something going on.

Kelly, I am going back to work in the fall but I only work 2 mornings a week. I am tempted not to but I make REALLY good money for my 7-8hrs a week and I know that I will never make that at another school.

Jess, I may try and put her bouncy in her room in the next couple of nights. Molly has been getting up because she is in so much pain so I am going to not change anything until she is better.

Kelly - I am impressed with how long she sleeps at a stretch! AJ is eating about every three hours at night, so in eight hours, he usually wakes up about three times still. At least I am used to it now, so it doesn't really matter anymore. AJ and I had a wonderful weekend! He is just so much more aware of his environment, and he is starting to be able to lay down on his back after he eats (about fifteen minutes later). We are going to try him sleeping in his crib (still in the bouncy seat this weekend )

Hope everyone has a good week!

Tammy - What's really funny is that Lela will drink cold milk from her sippy but not from the bottle lol. I really don't know what to tell you about Alyssa I am out of ideas poor little girl it is very hard to watch them in pain. Hopefully the doctor can help. So how does it feel to have an official toddler?

Lela had her first bloodly nose today She was running and fell and hit her nose on the ground it didn't bleed to much.

Robin - I know I cant believe she is 1 LOL, I just asked dh that question you posted and he said "stressful but worth it" LMAO Im going to give the milk still until I speak with her our Dr next week. She only drank her 6oz today & maybe 1 oz of the cold milk with her cake today & the rest formula and water. I just wish I started weening her sooner off her # of bottles per day maybe its my fault Sorry about the bloody nose, poor thing

Alyssa got this for her bday today from dh's aunt, she LOVES IT!! I do too hehe

Im just suring the TRU.com ( it has so much more than our .ca site ) I found this!! What a great idea, I use links to attach to her seat

Alyssa would LOVE this. She is a freak for the phones, she loves my sisters and when she sees someone on the phone she puts her hand on her ear

Melissa - I didn't realize that you were planning to stay at home for that long - enjoy every minute of it.

Robin - ouch - sorry for Lela's bloody nose

Tammy - Glad Alyssa likes her new toys. Can you buy from .com or only from .ca?

Lauren - thanks. We had a great time.

Lisa -I don't blame you for working if you get good $$$. Will Mia have a babysitter or do you have family who can watch her?

Missy - she still eats every 3 hours in the daytime, but we get one 6 hour stretch at night.

Thanks Kelly.

I forgot to mention what Lela loves to do now. She loves to play with her babydoll and she will hold her baby and pat her back and rocks back and forth and says shhhh shhhh shhhh like she is trying to put her to sleep it is so cute. Then she hands her to me and I do that and give her back and she does it again. It is so neat to see her pretend playing like that.

Kelly, my mom will watch her while I am at work. Also Morgan is going to afternoon kindergarten so she will have to stay at my moms also.

Robin, that is great that Lela is pretend playing. I love when kids have a great imagination. Morgan has a whole pretend family and her pretend parents let her do a whole lot more stuff than we do

Kelly- Happy Anniversary.

Robin- That is sooo sweet about Lela and her baby doll. I hope you can get it on video. I would love to see that.

Kedney- Don't forget to post pics. I can't wait to see that clear beautiful water!! Caribbean water is my favorite.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Friday night I had a really fun mom's night out with the mommy & me group. I didn't get in until 2am!!

Last night we were suppose to get a sitter because we had game night but had to skip because of Mason's problems and him going through the whole thing pretty bad as usual.

Mason got a little poopy out on his own yesterday but it was stuck even though it was soft. Kristy (Kedney) pm'd me about the same thing happening when her DD started food and to give milk of magnesia. I really didn't want to do the miralax because it is gritty and has to be dissolved in a bottle of water which I'm sure he wouldn't care for the gritty taste. Plus it is for much older kids.

Kristy said that the doctor told her she was withholding stools too but with looking at them you would never know. It seems they are struggling, pushing, turning red, and holding onto you for dear life. Well I took Mason's diaper off and watched and he was actually clenching and holding it in during the pains. I was shocked. They get so used to it being so painful they hold off on going.

We did the suppository last night not a lot came out. Then I gave him the milk of magnesia this morning and 2 hours later he went a very good amount. Now he has the big D. I started food again today.
So now I have to keep up with 1/2 tsp or so of the milk of magnesia until he starts realizing it doesn't hurt to go and stops withholding stools.

Hopefully it will still work as well with the food again which started this vicious circle. At least there is an answer and a plan now!!
