I finished my breakfast: 16oz 1% milk with 5 tsp carnation powder, 1oz of cheese (four of those little cracker stacker squares), 3 slices of whole wheat toast w/butter, and a large banana. I'm FULL. Ooof. I'll start sipping on my gatorade now.

For dinner last night, I broiled chicken tenders in the toaster oven (foil lined drip pan) in italian dressing with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and topped with parmesan cheese, and served the chicken with broccoli and ranch beans. I served him more beans and less broccoli, myself less beans and more broccoli. I'm having leftovers for lunch. Yummy.

The night before that, I made pork chops: rubbed with lemon, garlic powder, italian seasoning, salt and pepper, pat with italian bread crumbs, fry in olive oil, remove to paper towel. In same oil, sautee chopped onion and garlic (powder is okay if no fresh), then add a can of italian flavored diced tomatoes. Add chops back to top to reheat and pick up the tomato flavor. Meanwhile, boil pasta (I like rainbow rotini for this dish), drain, add butter, salt, pepper, garlic powder, parsley flakes, and grated parmesan. Serve tomato and onion sauce over pasta, top with chops. I gave it to DH like this, with spinach and an individual slice of garlic toast (the frozen kind so I could make one at a time); I had one chop only, no pasta, and a big pile of spinach. Just an example of how I adapt dinner to meet the different needs (he's a big eater, three food groups and often bread), because making two different meals is way too much work; I'd never make it trying to do that.

Tonight, we'll probably have filet mignon and snap peas, with mashed red potatoes for him (I have a packet type that I'll split in half and ziplock the rest for another meal, and make them only for him).

See? I've been eating like this the whole time! I'm motivated this week -- I want to see that blessed 199 on the scale!

We are just getting back, I took Alyssa after breakfast to mohawk park and it was so nice out! I love my pedometer, 4 miles and over 7000 steps so far today!! "they" say to try and reach 10,000 steps a day and most people fall 4000 steps short and I'm almost there . I brought a snack for me and some lunch for her but now it's time for mama to eat something. I think Im having shrimp for lunch

BTW, I'm still locating those WW books; I'll get through the rest of the boxes this weekend, promise.

Tammy ~ Shrimp is a good choice. I have shrimp cocktail at least every few weeks. Good for you on the stepping.

Stephanie - Congrats on another pound lost. You will be at your goal in no time!!

I had 15 pc's of shrimp and then also made tuna rollups. Large leafs of lettuce, tuna/mayo/onion, tomato, cheese, cucumber and olives. YUMMY

Thanks on the stepping, it's nice to see a # and each day maybe I can try to beat it . Time to go relax for a bit then to get dh's casserole made for dinner.

wow, you ladies are doing great.

steph-love your dinners, I will have to borrow those ideas. You will see that magic number! Your doing great!!

tammy-way to go, I have to get one of those to see the steps too. your doing great. sounds like a great lunch too.

Well breakfast was a yogurt and a peach this morning. I wanted an english muffin, but squashed that idea. Then I had some grapes and carrots sticks around 10 in the car. Lunch was a big salad with 2 tbls. of reduced fat dressing and about 4 ozs. of grilled chicken. Dinner is to be determined. I stuggling a bit with that today. But I may make steph's pork chops. I have them in the freezer and that would work well.

Other than that, I did a 1/2 step aerobics tape this morning and planning a 2 mile walk with the family tonight.

karen-way to go on the walking next to dh. Your incredible!

sarah-great job on the weight loss.

cassie-good job on the pushups.

Bina NOOOOOOOOOO that is me PRE-Surgery two weekends ago at Dh's college. We went up for the day and watched a baseball game. Posted all those inthe toddler pics. Check them out. Notice the fat roll on my Tummy sticks out farther than my boobs. Well Not NOW!!

Tammy- you are too sweet! Thanks. I was just bummin around campus. Def not what I consider a MILF outfit. Oh and you WILL get there at the rate you are going!

Vicki- Now don't give me too much credit Darren was on the stationary bike beside me while I was on the treadmill walking but yes it is a START.

Jenna WELCOME BACK! Now get your butt back in gear!! How many times did you workout on vacation??

Girls I had a post-op appt today and it went well. He said eveyrthing looks great with the incisions. Told me to not lift Riley for another week butt o walk if I feel like it. No upper bosy workouts for awhile. He thought they looked great but told me it may take up to a year for them to go to where they should be or WILL be rather. So all in all good appt. Dh then took me for Italian... I ate only half though. Oh and at the doc's office I weighed it at 135.5 so I was relieved. If I could just move my tummy flab to my butt I would be GREAT!

Off to take a nap while Riley is napping. Sleeping at night is hard right now. I am a tummy sleeper and I am having to stay on my back. Notfun! So I am going to hit the recliner and see if I can rest my tired eyes while I can!

Ok this am started off rough. I chickened out of the Body Pump class when I found out it was 1 hour which would have burned 1000 calories. So I walked for an hour on the treadmill. I was going to do the Water Aerobics but it was lightning this AM so they shut it down for the day due to more storms and rain! Which really bummed me out. Tomorrow is Spin class and Pilates so fingers crossed that will work out.

Bkfast: Banana
Lunch: 2-2oz Turkey burgers on ww sliced bread with spinach and cheese with 1 cup 1% milk.
Snack:banana
Oh, and I did cheat a little. DD wanted a Dr Pepper I told her she could have it if I could have a sip. So, I took a sip but it didn't taste good, so I wont do that again.
Dinner: Was yummy! I made reg. pasta bc I don't have WW. Low fat hamburger meat with onion, celery, red bell pepper, parsley, and finely chopped spinach. Homemade spaghetti sauce bc the other I had bought had too much sodium and sugar. So I used tomato sauce, diced tomatoes with garlic and onion, and more chopped spinach. I mixed it all together and put 1 cup on my plate, but it was too much so I ate half. 1.5 cups of 1% milk. So far so good.

Good luck we are getting close to mid week! I hope everyone has had a terrific Tuesday! Keep up the diets and exercise.

Lindy - i used to do body pump all the time and it isn't scary at all. They have you grab a bar and get weights on it...Tell the teacher you are new she will walk you through it all. Then they do squats and lunges and things like that using the weights. It is a slow class not crazy at all. Did you at least walk by and look in so you could see if it was anything you wanted to do? I wish I lived nearby i would come go with you and that would help. Good JOB on the treadmill though. You are doing great!! That pasta sounds YUMMMMMMMMMMMM! Tell me the background where is your dh?? Is it you that said you got to talk to him?

Melissa-It is okay I eat choc EVERYDAY! I have to have at least one square maybe two or three of Dove dark choc. Just do all the other stuff and get some exercise and that is still great! No worries back on that ol horse! oh and TACO SOUP is my FAV!! Making me want to go make some but I have leftovers. Maybe tomorrow!!

Dh has a softball game tonight at 9:15! Isn't that crazy! Needless to say we won't be going. He had to run out a bit to go to a dinner and I managed to get the kids bathed and fed. He is now back and putting them to bed before he goes to the game. I am jsut checking in on the nighttime crew. Making sure no one needs someone to say STEP AWAY FROM THE FRIDGE!!!!!!!!

Karen- I guess I am just waiting until I get my time in with a personal trainer. I am really scared to do weights at this point. I am going to try it on the next day it is available. My DH is a valve tech for Woodgroup Pressure Control.. Which means he works on valves for the gas and oil wells. We enjoy getting to spend time and actually talk bc he works so much. We are getting in as much time in as possible bc he will be staying 12-14 hours a day in the next couple of months. I am glad that you got good news from the dr. today. Oh, so should I join the gym or try and keep it up at our crappy free gym at our apts? I guess it's the money that bothers me. I do like having the encouragement of the people in the classes. I gotta run DH and I are going to watch Adam Sandler's Reign on Me!

P.S. I Love You: My review starts with this is a great chick flick. You will need some tissue and if you can handle it wait for DH and kids to not be home or asleep. It has a wonderful story line, and will make you think what would I do? It is an excellent movie. I give it 4.5 Lindy Stars!

27 Dresses: Oh, Katherine Heigl is the upcoming Julia Roberts. It is another chick flick but it has class. It gives you an inside look into the way weddings are over industrialized. It is also a great comedy. Your older kids will be able to sit in the room and watch it with you. I give this 5 Lindy Stars.

I am Legend: Will Smith is an amazing and talented actor. Once again he grabs your attention for a wonderfully produced movie. It shows you a time when NYC is basically demolished from a disease without a cure. It is a sit on the edge of your seat movie. I don't get scared in movies, but I jumped once in this one. Will is a phenomenal actor. I don't think kids should be present during this movie. I give this 4.75 Lindy Stars.

Cloverfield: Well, this movie would have been great had I not watched I am Legend first. It also takes place in NYC and ends up demolishing the city. It does have a great plot line, but I don't think the producer was the best. Kids shouldn't be present during this film either. I give this 3 Lindy Stars.

Oh, my Star rating is 1-5. 1 is the crappiest and 5 being the best overall. I am a nobody but I love movies and recently I have watched these and thought if any of you hadn't seen them you might like to know another persons opinion of that movie. I hope that you all have a Wonderful Wednesday!
