Morning ladies... sounds like everyone is doing great!! Keep it up!!
Kelly - 1/2 a pound is still great! Your doing awesome Mama! Karen - You will be back in the game in no time mama! Don't worry too much. (Sorry if this doesn't make sense, but it does to me and I see now what I did wrong) Well I think I know why I havent been lossing like i was the 1st 2 weeks. I read on the atkins site for certain things like sweetner to call it 1 carb and not the .5 carb that is on that package. Same with eggs that are 0 on the carton and to call it 1 carb etc. I downloaded the chart from their site that tells you how to count all the food items etc. Anyway I guess I was not reaching my 20 carb limit for the day and not enough caleries, so now Im not following the atkins nutritional chart and going by what it actually says on the nutritional label for each foods(which I was doing for the 1st 2 weeks but not this week, go figure . Total as of today since 04/14/08 is 12.8 lbs!! I even took some benefibre yesterday and was able to go and didnt go up on my weight!!![]()

Vicki - sounds like you're doing great! Lindy - you did great yesterday - how's today going? Karen - I'm sorry you have so many bad feelings right now. 2 months from now you'll look back and realize you had nothing to worry about. I weighed in another pound lighter this morning (Kelly ignores Steph shaking her finger at me for weighing every day). I am just really thinking a/b visualizing myself as I want to be. I am 5 pounds lighter than when I got my BFP, but still 2 sizes bigger in pants. Who knows - maybe the styles have changed since I bought clothes last? Some of my old stuff fits, but whatever - I feel pretty good a/b myself and I keep making progress. |

Well I haven't weighed in over a week. I'm kinda skeered to
..lolI have done badly this week. I was trying to get everything done for my Adult Novelty Party(last night)...which was awesome Also, I am a big stresser. So long story short...I am back on the train today. Karen- that would be awesome if you ended up in Atlanta. I only live like an 1.5 hour from there. We could meet up sometime This thread is really growing. I'm so glad we have some new girls. Good Luck to all the new girls. This is a great place for support!! |

Good afternoon ladies. I did good about what I have eaten so far. I did get up really late, so I had 1/3 cup of scrambled eggs sprinkled with a little tiny bit of shredded cheese. and a 1/2 cup of 1% milk. Ok, before DH and I moved to the house we are in now DD had lice twice and it was from the same kid. I frequently do head checks now, and I found some nits the other day and treated her. Of course, since I have never had lice I figured I would not get it now. Well, I found one on me in the shower while I was washing my hair and DH spent 2 hours combing my hair out. Thankfully I didn't have it as bad as DD but it still is really gross. I used to think only dirty people got until it came into my home. I am a neat freak, and eceryone has to shower daily. So, I am washing everything in my house today. Everything that can't be washed is going to be bagged for two weeks or sprayed. ARGGGGGGGGGG what a weekend to top off my crappy week. One good thing is I haven't pigged out like I usually do when I am stressed. I am an emotional eater, and I usually eat bc I am bored. So, I have done really good on that this weekend. I will be ready to weigh in in the am. Good luck to everyone, and I hope that we have a great week this week.

Lindy- That STINKS! Good job on not eating under the stress, GO for a walk instead~
Tammy- good job on figuring out what you need to do. And making your own protein bars?? I would be interested to see that recipe! Dh loves Protein bars and buys them all the time at $2/each Kelly- isn't it weird how your body shape changes and you weigh less??? Babies really do change your whole body. Not that they are not worth it but they widen your hips and flatten your butt not to mention all the rest. You are doing great!! I am so proud of you. Thanks for the comments to make me feel better. I took a shower while everyone was at church, relaxed a bit, afterwards I put on a sports bra( a cute one though with skinny straps So I felt a bit better after all that. Will be glad to get these stitches out hopefully this week though! They are all itchy.When does Jenna get back? |

Great job with your eating Lindy! That's awesome! I will weigh in the morning and see how much damage my laziness has done and get back to it. Blah.. I am leaving for the beach this Saturday and I have THREE busy nights this week: box seats at the local baseball stadium with DH and his company Monday night, my sisters graduation dinner (she graduates from college that day) Tuesday night, and a charity dinner and Jimmy Buffett cover band concert Thursday night. Busy busy busy.. I work Monday and Friday and have my friends son Tues. and Thurs. Then, off to Charleston to Folly Beach on Saturday morning for a week with my family. SO MUCH going on.. sorry for the long post! |

Karen - my one gripe about my breast reduction...less time that my tummy will take to stick out futher than my boobs. I am fighting that battle tooth and nail now so I dont look permanently prego
I haven't been eating too much while feeling like poop. Rhylee ate some chocolate cake today...I fed her and I was not even tempted for a bite! I made red beans yesterday so I plan to eat them all week!!!! |

Today is going pretty good, finding it hard to eat today though. I want ice tea so badly, but I only drink it sweet. So I'm just not going to touch it at all. Otherwise, dh and the kids wanted ribs, which are horrible for you. So they are having those and I'm having a ceasar salad with a lemon-pepper seasoned grilled chicken breast. I'm actually more excited about that then the ribs they are having. Otherwise, we went to the park for a while today and I hiked around the lake. That was great. We will see, I'm super pumped and excited now to be working at this.
karen-YA for dh's reaction! That must have felt great. Also, I'm glad you are more comfortable in the sports bra now. I'm sure that helps a ton too. |

Ok, so I posted what we had for brunch. Now we had pot pie for lunch. I only ate half of it bc, I got full really quick. I had a half a sm cup of diet caffeine free diet coke, just to kick my dp craving. I didn't even finish what was in there. As for dinner, we are having broiled salmon with whole grain wheat rice that is organic. I am only going to do 1/3 of a cup. Then it will be topped w/ onion, celery, red bell pepper. I buy it frozen and it is already chopped so I eat it with everything. I sautee it with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and a smidge of butter for flavor. Then, I guess it will be peas bc I don't have any salad. So, I guess I am doing really well so far. I haven't cheated yet. Although DD had powdered sugar donuts yesterday and keep asking me if I wanted any. I am ready for tomorrows weigh in. I know I probably haven't lost much but it will be enough for the few days I have been dieting.
Well, I will be on first thing in the am with a hopeful weight loss! |

Vicki- I know what you mean I have had a HORRIBLE eating day today too! I won't even go there but I have got to get back in gear! UGH! And yes the sports bra made me a bit more comfortable. Cassie- It is awful...For years my tummy has always stuck out further than my boobs and now that it doesn't it is strange. lol Way to go on the choc cake. I wish I had some of that willpower!! We went to take a ride to get me out of the house and we ate at Bojangles which we NEVER do. Well we get in there and they are out of cajun chicken so we said we would jsut wait no hurry...So since we had to wait they gave us 4 yes FOUR Bo-berry biscuits...Any of you that don't know what those are...They are BAD BAD BAD but oh so good. Of course we took them. So I ate one and there are three on the counter. I need to go throw them away but dh would have a cow if I did as I am sure he is planning to have one with coffee soon. I have no willpower. I did not want to eat fast food so why did I so willingly eat there?? Because I am sore and feeling sorry for myself so I EAT. I hate that part of my brain and wish I could cut it out! ![]() So now I have made the rest of you feel better. ![]() |

Okay girls today is a NEW week and I am getting back on track!!! I plan to start eating better and want this new found five pounds BACK off...Plus in a ideal world five more than that but seems the last ten pounds is the HARDEST to lose. SO that being said I am going to try and walk today. Not sure with my body being used to hard core cardio if it willl even react but it is better than nothing. Christie- get your butt in gear TODAY! I want a run from you and good eating choices! The rest of you girls TOO! Let's all have a great Monday! Steph where they heck are you? I want a ball workout today! You hear me missy!!! And at least 7 push-ups. What about some jumping jacks...Did I get carried away??? |

Morning ladies. Off to make bfast while my girl is still sleeping. I lost a total of 2lbs this week. I'm starting the long walk to mohawk park again today since the weather has been crap the past week and the week before was drama galore in my house. You all know what I mean if you read the toddler side. Can't wait to get back out ther |
