Steph - I am so glad too see your hard work is paying off. I am so excited that you have cut your cigarettes too. Keep up the good work. Do you have a date that you would like to be cigarette free?

Laura, June 20th is the big day. No significance, just 30 days from the day I decided to quit for real. BTW, heard from Karen, she should be back home and back to her computer sometime tonight. |

Tammy~ Yay for losing 4lbs! You will definately meet your goal by xmas. that is so funny about seeing dh in the store, what did he say when you told him? Oh and fingers crossed you get that job. I think that will be an awesome job to have.
Jenna~ oh i bet that was an awesome workout Jaicee in one of those backpack things. caleb would love going on a hike like that. Steph~ That is AWESOME that you are down to 199! You go girl . And good job on cutting back on the smokes. Did you check out the website I posted for you? I really like that they keep track for you your quit date, how many cigarettes you haven't smoked and how much money you saved by quitting.....it really helped me to SEE those numbers change everyday. Cassie~ good job on the water drinkage and bringing an apple for a snack. Vicki~ do you have some fresh veggies to munch on to help you get through your craving? or maybe go for a walk? I haven't weighed this week. My scales seriously suck and I need to buy some digital ones. These scales were actually my moms and she owned them for god only knows how long before I took them when i moved out years ago, LOL. I have my 6wk pp checkup tomorrow so i'll just see how much I weigh then. So in order to help with the middle of the night munchie attacks i have been having I made a fresh fruit salad yesterday. I bought some pears, apples, red grapes, canteloupe and watermelon-cut it all up & just put it all in a big tupperware container. It is YUMMY! Hi to anyone else i missed! Tammy ~ Those shrimp sound yummy! And I am with you, my DH is hotter than ever...being a daddy is sexy. ![]() Vicki ~ FIGHT THE URGES! I have a huge sweet tooth so I am eating some raisins right now trying to satisfy it, do you have any? Robin ~ Good luck I'm sure your hard work has paid off! I have done pretty good eating more often, healthier, and smaller portions I guess. Lastnight we had parmesan chicken and acorn squash - YUM but DH makes the squash with a ton of butter and brown sugar salt/pepper but it is so good. At least it's a veggie right? Tonight is our anniversary so all diets are probably out the window this evening. Continued success to all!

I have to go make dinner, and it will be naughty. I probably won't eat much, if any of it. We're having a portabello (sp?) mushroom marina sauce with pasta (which i'll probably eat some of - I LOVE mushrooms!) and garlic breadsticks and ceasar salad. I'll def have some of the salad...I really want one of those breadsticks, though! |
