Laura ~ You and I are about the same size. I'm 5'6 127 right now and would like to be around 120 (we'll see about that) but mainly I am wanting to tone up.

Ashlyn and I walked about 3/4 of a mile today. It was nice out since we had a little cloud coverage. We've been having quite a few tornadoes already though... Maybe I'll get an extra workout tonight too....

Tried to catch up with the posts, but gave up at page 24, lol.
ALL of you gals are doing so awesome, you should be proud of yourselves!

Tammy-WTG, you are doing so awesome!

Someone mentioned a while back about how to eat breakfast on crazy mornings with a little one. On work days, I give Avery wholegrain waffles (not homemade) so she can feed herself while I eat my breakfast. I usually have raisin bran or something so if she does want what I have I can give her some of the bran flakes. Also if you don't eat breakfast, your metabolism will slow down because your body will be in starvation mode, so even eating a cereal bar will help.

drkayla - I am shorter than you. I think you look great now. I would love to be 120 but am pretty happy with my weight now. I was 115 at 23.

Tammy - Great job.

Kayla - I was 140 at one point in high school, I did lots of sports so I was much more toned. I think weight isn't the best measure as I probably looked better at a toned 140 than at 130 and not toned.

So I did a 8 mile bike ride this weekend. I should go again today, hope it doesn't rain.

Thanks everyone!! I can really see it in my upper body, I'm loving how some of my shirts are fitting! I will be going out today to buy a few pairs of black pants and shoes "IF & WHEN " I get the call back that I'm hired!!! I could be a cake decorator before the day is over!!!

Laura - I agree completely! I try to tell my niece that ALL the time. She whines about being 140 but she is solid from head to toe (cheerleading and track). She does not have an ounce of cellulite on her anywhere. Everyone is geared to thinking that the scale is the way to go. I go by the scale to see if I am making an improvement but I do not try to live by it. The way your clothes fit is a great way to keep track. I really need to start exercising. We may be getting a pool soon so I will be living in it this summer LOL! I am a self-proclaimed "water baby".

Tammy - That is wonderful! Way to go YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chrystie~ Check out your ticker!! You are doing so well!!! WTG!!!

Tammy~ YAY YAY YAY!!! Look how much you've already lost! What an inspiration you are!!! Good job! Quick question - are you planning on working when DH is home, or will you have to find someone to watch Alyssa for you? Just wondering.

Kayla~ Yup, in highschool we were a bunch of Monty Python fans. Being a weirdo is cool!

Steph~ I am also a Buffy fan! I've seen your Buffy blinkies and wondered where you got them. Xander always has the best quotes!

DH and Jaicee and I (and the dogs, of course!) went on a two mile hike yesterday up Waterfall Canyon. Jaicee LOVED being outside and seeing all of the flowers, rocks, bugs, trees, and of course she thought the water was the coolest thing of all. I had her in one of those baby backpacks and BOY was my back hurting after lugging around my 20 pounder when the hike was over! It was a good workout, though. I'm sure I burned even more calories than normal just from hauling her around!

Jenna - IF they hire me, from what I was told I would work the mornings -- so when dh is working & the MIL would watch her and pick me up after and drop the 2 of us off at home once the shift is over. Weekends dh would drive me etc.

So how are all the weight loss girls this tuesday? Hope you all had a nice long weekend. We had our's last week for Victoria day.

I'm so excited that within "maybe" 2 weeks I will weigh less than dh!! But dh is ALL MUSCLE.

I took ALyssa out in the stroller to get some things and I was in shoppers drug mart and I turn into the next aisle and I see this HUGE BUILT guy with AWESOME arms and tattoos walk in and I was like "mmmmmm he looks hot and like DH" then I look up towards his face and it was DH!! LMAO!!!

Tammy- You are doing awesome! Great job!

I am refusing to weigh in today. I know that it won't be good, I ate a LOT of sweets this weekend. So I'm just skipping it altogether this week, focusing on getting back on track, and will weigh in next week. I did get weighed at the dr. the other day (the day after I weighed in at home), and I actually weighed 6 pounds less than my home scale! So I guess my scale is a bit off. It was nice to see it so much lower than I expected, though! I think I need a new scale. Mine is too hard to really see each of the little lines. I'll think about that for next week though.

Jenna - It was hilarious, I don't think DH realized in the store that I was starring at his body and not his face at first, LOL. I'm a sucker for a nice muscular body and big arms w/ tattoos LOL.

Sarah - Glad to hear your getting back on track, you can do this!
