Well I'm almost ready for my trip to see dh on Saturday
Things haven't gone as well as I would have liked for my weight lose as I've only lost 2lbs. since having started two weeks ago. But with having to take care of my sister I haven't had the opprotunity to work out. I have made dietary changes and have only had one can of sprite in the last two weeks. But zebra cakes seem to be calling my name all hours of the night, instead of caving into my craving I grab a handful of dried cherries or fruits. I think that once I am able to work out the weight will start to melt off. Unfortunately I haven't been using my body ball as the kids popped it lol. Going to look into getting a new one and maybe a pedometer. The puppy issue cleared up that same night, the dad told the kids and showed them where he had buried the dog in the backyard...ever since the kids have made memorials and so forth for it and are visiting it almost everyday TODAY B: half a cup of smart start cereal with organic fat free milk and dried cherries thrown in |

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing great this week. My dh is home this week, so I have barely been on the computer. I weighed in again this Monday and lost another 3 lbs. So that was 6 lbs today. I'm very happy with that. Otherwise, I'm trying to be real good with him being home for meals. Normally that is when we have all the odd things or eat out. Otherwise, I will catch up more soon.
Keep it going girls! We are going to be some hot momma's!!! |

Okay, I posted a couple pictures in the weight loss pix thread. Not the good ones from Sunday, but the one that I took with Kayla and Marika the other night, and then one that a coworker just took now -- not a great pic, but it shows a lot. Go to it.

Cassie - 4 lbs is awesome! One reese's cup in a week is OK.
Vicki - Congrats on another 3 lbs! I didn't have much to make for dinner tonight b/c I really need to go to the store. FIL gave me some food for Hannah and DH will be home late. I REALLY wanted to stop at Taco Bell on the way home, but I managed to talk myself out of it. I ate a little bit of leftover pasta and I think I'm going to make myself a quesadilla - I feel like a splurge and I know that will be much healthier for me than anything from Taco Bell. Another teacher and FIL commented on my weight loss today. But I was glad to take my pants off when I got home - they were pretty tight. |

I just got back from the gym downstairs and I weighed myself in the same outfit/sneaks as last week. Somehow I managed to lose 4 lbs even though I really haven't been tracking points... its probably just water weight but I'll take it!!

Steph I forgot to say YAY to stepping up to another push up!! What about Daniel. Does he need to lose some weight. Wouldn't walks together be a great time to talk and feel close??
Kayla- you look great with Steph and I can tell a difference. Also I hate it when my shirt makes me look like I have a roll!! Happens to me all the time! UGH! I think you look super cute! Chrystie- I can tell a difference and so glad you are feeling better abotu yourself!! Amazing what losing weight can do to your confidence. I think when I gained weight I wore bigger tops and jsut said FORGET it! Now I am like YEAH this feels better and I can do MORE! Keep up the great work!! I have decided to start working out Monday. Nothing heavy at first just walking or riding my exercise bike but I have to get back into it. I want to look better for the beach and my BFF and I are having a girls weekend and she is SUPER hot( she hasn't had any babies) so I don't want to feel self conscious. My goal is to at least feel better. My tummy is out of control right now. I realize the doctor told me that working out would not help and I need a tummy tuck to FIX it completely but I think I could help it SOME. I really am thinking of getting a personal trainer and see what that does but I can't go at it with weights full force so I think I will have to wait to do that. I will come on everyday and record what physical activity I do and that way I can be held accoutable. You girls get me if I don't do anything!!! I mean it. So what have you girls done today? Or plan to do? |

Kelly - Yummm.....TACO BELL! Not many foods could possibly be worse for you LOL but it is so yummy! Glad you decided on a quesadilla from home. You could actually have some things off of the Taco Bell menu but you have to order it Fresco style in which they take off all the bad stuff (cheese and sauces) and replace it with tons of extra veggies! It is a lot better for you! Your pics that you posted for Cristina are very good. Hannah looks like her mommy!
Karen - You are a doll. Are you feeling better now that you have had a little time to recover? Your pics turned out good btw! Let me just say that we all hate you in the nicest way possible!!!!!!!! Jenna - How are things going for you this week? Okay girls....I FINALLY worked out last night. I got on my elliptical and started out with a stronger resistance than I did last time I started to exercise. I worked out for 35 minutes. It felt great but my hips are not in such great shape. I am going to the Dr. because I have been having some progressively worse pain lately. I have had trouble with my hips since I was 15 and while I was PG with Marika I stayed in AGONY for the last 2 months!!!!!!! *sigh* I just hope they can do something because this is effecting my ability to get adequate exercise. We'll see what he says. You girls are doing SOOOOO AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Keep it up girls! We are going to be the hottest chicks on the internet! |
