I was telling my Dh last night that when I first started working out, I could only do like 5 or 10 flutter-kicks at a time. Now I'm up to 25 before I need to rest a little.
I am so proud of that. I am not at my goal yet, but my self-esteem sure has gone up already

I hope everyone is having a great day. I love talking to you ladies.
You are all wonderful.

Lindy~ LOL about being your own cheerleader! Sometimes we really need to be! Awesome job cooking your yummy, healthy dinner at home.

Tammy~ Good job on your walks, your eating, and your weight loss! You are a total inspiration! You'll see the 100's in NO time!

Kelly~ I've been eating SO NAUGHTY. Today I ate 3 cupcakes!! DARN dh for making me those for Mother's day! It was my fault for asking. Luckily they are all gone so now I only have healthy food in the house.

So I suck at eating good this week, but I've been good about my workouts! I did my treadmill yesterday as planned, and today came home and did turbo jam. Hopefully the workouts will off set some of my TERRIBLE eating. Time to get back on the ball! My mom is (finally!) coming to meet Jaicee next month. How sad that she'll be over 9 months old the 1st time she meets her Grandma? Anyway, I want to lose 10 pounds by the time she gets here. Maybe I should make a ticker for more motivation.....

So I weighed today & am down to 152lbs!! Only a few more pounds to my pre-preggo weight. I lost all my baby weight with Caleb within a month and then stalled out around 150lbs so we'll see what happens this time round. I am SO ready to workout!!

It has been days since i read over here, i'll have to catch up sometime this week.

I will try to catch up with everyone later, I have some crap going on in my life that is just BAD. So sorry if it takes me a bit, we dont have good luck where we live at all and things need to change for the better. If you want to read about it head over to the toddler side.

Good job everyone; sounds like everybody is keeping at it, and that's great!

No loss on the scale for me this week, but I did loose another 1/2 inch off my waist. Go figure. No pun intended. I did hefty grocery shopping this weekend, so I'm back on track too after the past two weeks of difficulty. When I saw Kayla (km Kayla) on Sunday evening, the first thing out of her mouth was 'YOU LOOK GREAT!!!'

I did go to Gail's also, and she took several pictures of me for y'all. I should have them in the next day or two. Also, Kayla's DH took a couple, but we're sitting, so you won't be able to see everything, but they are of the three of us. Me and Kayla, with Marika somewhere in the middle.

Still doing my 8 pushups. My mother is teaching a short Zumba class during June; I think it's two nights a week for 4 or 6 weeks. There's no way I'm getting out of it. I think she already decided that I'm going. So, that will be fine.

Keep it up y'all!

Steph-oh where oh where is that much-awaited PICTURE!!

Keep up the good work girls! Even though I can't really diet right now I still may need a kick-in-the-butt from drill sargent Karen! I think I've eaten chocolate of some kind every day for the past week.

I haven't had time to catch up, but am fighting another horrible sinus infection, so am staying in bed all day (DH took off work, thank goodness.) Just want to report that I'm down another pound; I'll change it on my ticker later.

Aww Heather. I wish I could come to Knoxville to meet you! I want to meet some of my CT friends!!!

I miss Christie too! Hope she is having fun at the beach! I am so jealous and wish I was there right now!!

Sarah I hope you feel better! Way to go on another pound! That is great!

Steph- I can't wait to hear how the Zumba class goes! They have started one at the Y here and when I get released from the doctor I am thinking I am going ot give it a try! Dh asked me this morning if they have childcare for both kids at the Y so I think he is thinking I could join! I jsut sort of plant the seeds with him and they work out. That is what 12 years of marriage does for ya.

So I went bra shopping at Victoria's Secret yesterday and I got 36C's! So I was thrilled. Had to buy the bras without wires so I only got two and $87 later....Bras well good bras cost too stinkin MUCH! Geez. but they felt great and boy did my tata's look better in a real bra! We also tried on a few bathing suits(dh was with me) and he was all smiles....MENNNNNNNNNNNN!!! The tummy was the farthest thing from his mind since I have been flat chested and now have something up top. Not even that much but it doesn't take much to please him. lol

Chrystie - can't remeber if I told you lately - congrats on the loss.

Cassie - a pic can be a good incentive

Jenna - too bad I don't live near you - I would have taken the cupcake out of your hand and throw it away. I do that to people at work all the time - guess they think I'm a b!tch

I haven't been eating great either. Good, with limits, not pigging out, just not great. I miss making myself throw up!

There's a young girl at work, she just turned 23. She's been married nearly 2 years. People ask her often if she's pg b/c she wear that style of clothes and she carries her weight in her tummy. At the beginning of the school year, she said she'd gained 15 lbs in the year she's been married. I just worry a/b this girl. The way she eats, she's going to be over 200 by the time she's in her late 20s. (And that's starting from 135 or something). Yesterday they ordered lunch from a pasta place. The servings were huge and came w/ bread and salad. I mentioned that one dish would feed me, DH, and DD for dinner and I should order some so I don't have to cook - she ate the whole thing! Today, I ordered a dish and split it w/ someone. I ate a/b 1/3 of it (it was smaller portion than what they had yesterday) and I didn't eat any bread b/c I ate pasta. I also had a small spinach salad w/ ff dressing from home. She ate her entire pasta dish and salad and THREE pieces of bread - each piece was 1/2 of a small loaf. She has complained a/b wanting to look good in a swimsuit and stuff like that - I just couldn't believe she ate that much. And she does that quite often.

Tammy, I too, like Sarah and apparently you, and I think Kelly, fluctuate HUGELY all day and night, 5lbs up down up down. This is the reason why people like us CANNOT weigh-in all the time. It can be a major downer. I weigh in every Sunday when I go grocery shopping, in the early afternoon, after a minimal breakfast and before lunch, and normally have 'gone' by then, I also take off my shoes and don't wear heavy clothes. I even make sure my hair is mostly dry from my shower. BUT, it doesn't matter what your little rituals are, so long as they are consistant and you are weighing in under the same circumstances every week. STOOOOOOOOOOPPP! You're doing fine. SOMETIMES, I hop on my little cheapie scale at home, but I never pay too much attention to the results, b/c frankly it's unreliable, and I know that I fluctuate a LOT. It's sort of a toy to me.

Oh, yeah, Amber, I love that you are spending that little time with just Caleb to walk. That's probably really nice for him to have you to himself. Just be sure not to over-do it, okay? Some people heal fast like my mother, so I'm not going to fuss, b/c you know your body. But don't be a hero. People who heal fast and have a higher pain tolerance (hello, my entire family is like this) often forget to recognize the low-level signs of 'slow down buddy' that the body sends out. We always say we are too stupid to be sick or hurt in my family. Meaning, we all hurt ourselves and don't notice, or keep going until we REALLY hurt ourselves, or have to be green with 103 fever to accepts that we are ill. Family joke. I actually tore my own hamstring once while sitting on the floor with my legs out in a 'V', and was simply watching CMT and stretching over to my foot, and felt my hamstring go *pop--popopop*. Oops. Guess I didn't realize I was stretching too hard. Always took it for granted cause I'm such a naturally limber person (I can still do the splits without stretching, etc.).

Babble babble.

Steph~ I promise I will not over do it . And OUCH about tearing your hamstring stretching!!!!
