Steph- Rough day at work? Or worse? Step away from from the candy bar! Unless you really might commit homicide, I guess. I hope things get better.
Irene/Cassie: I see the benefits of the reduction, but my girls are the only thing that stick out further than my big ole belly, I'm not sure I'd have the guts to do that! |

Claire- I was 172 when I found got pg. The top of the healthy weight range for my height is like 160 maybe? I was a bit overweight and it didn't change anything for me.
Steph- VENT HERE.. STEP AWAY FROM THE CANDY BAR LOL I am going out to a charity function tonight with DH. They have a Jimmy Buffet cover band. Should be fun. Maybe then I can dance off the calories from the open bar? |

Claire - Yeah I wouldn't have had a reduction in that case, but now it's something that helps to motivate me b/c I know I have to keep my belly & tata's in check with each other!
Steph - I had that thought once today...well no meltdown, but I wanted the candy, just because, but I SAID NO I will not do that to myself and have regrets later! |

Steph - I hope you resist the candy bar although you know that if you really need one enjoy it and then get right back on track!
Christie - that sounds like alot of fun. We have Chinese food leftovers to finish tonight so I guess my WW is officially starting tomorrow. I am going to the gym tonight though - DH has agreed to go with me (broken foot and all) so that will be extra motivation. |

Claire ~ I am so glad you asked that question!!! My BFF had a baby and she is about 20 lbs heavier than me. Like I posted to you in the TTC thread, my doctor (or NP rather) told me to lose weight and relax. Okay, I can work on the relax part (& the weight part) but that is BS to brush me off and just tell me to lose weight when I am coming to you with (what I think) is a non weight related issue. erg. I'm not in total denial, I mean I know my weight is not in a healthy range, but that can't be the only contributing factor for my IF and it gives me hope to see that overweight girls can get pg. Today was long. DD didn't have school today. She goes back on Monday. As for exercising I am going to go tomorrow. We did go outside and she tried to ride her bike w/o training wheels. So my feet were tanned while out there. I think it was almost 90 today! As for my diet, I was able to sleeep in until 10:00 before DD came to say she was ready to wake up and eat.
Bkfast: One WW tortilla with sausage and egg, and a little bit of cheese. Lunch: Sm sandwhich with turkey and cheese and spinach. Dinner: I was starving, I guess bc I didn't have a snack today was 2 sm ww tortillas with low fat hamburger meat and beans with sour cream and little cheese. No more food for me tonight. I am putting her in daycare tom. so I can exercise at the gym, I am going to ride the bike and do the treadmill for about two hours and call it a day! Well, I gotta go for now. OH TO ALL OF YOU CRAVING FANATICS: STEP AWAY FROM YOUR CRAVING IT IS NOT WORTH IT! |

Cassie - If anyone here, I totally know what you mean a/b life revolving around food in LA - everytime I go there I gain 5 lbs. Can you cook some double batches of food and freeze half so you have meals ready to go? Or crockpot meals? After seeing the IL's weight gain last weekend and seeing the 3 other teachers who had babies the same time as me and still look pg, I realized how important turning down foods is. I forgot my lunch the other day and had to go to Wendy's so I got a grilled chicken sandwich and a side salad w/ lite ranch. You can do it - I forced myself to get on the elliptical for 40 min last night, even though I was dead tired, b/c I realized how close I am into fitting into those pants, and going to bed wasn'nt going to get me any closer.
I was going to post this today, then I read how many other people posted similar things. I am shy to say this - only Jenna knows this, but one year ago today, I was at my last appt. and my dr. told me to be back in the morning for the c-section. My eyes popped out of my head and I told the nurse we had to get the baby out now when I saw the scale. So here it is May 8, 2007 - 199.7 Today - May 8, 2008 - 140.0 I still hope to lose at least 10 more. I was 145.5 when I got my BFP Last edited by Kelly : 05-08-2008 at 08:57 PM. |

Kelly I was posting at the same time as you....You are doing great and I am so proud of you for conquering your weight loss!! Keep up the great work! I am having a better ta ta day today. Went to my MOPS meeting and no one even glanced at them so that was good! Maybe no one has noticed. I wore black jsut in case. All of you girls talking about reductions. I say go for it! Karen~ Glad you are on the mend and that no one stared in shock at your awesome new tata's!
Steph~ Ohhh...snickers....good thing I HATE Mtn dew! Yuck! My weakness is Dr. P....good thing they make diet! Kelly~ You go, girl!!!! Check out that weighloss!!! You've done awesome! My heart would leap with joy if I EVER say 140. At this point I'd be happy to hit 160. Lindy~ YAY for eating healthy! Cassie~ Get both feet in those big girl panties! You can DO this! We are here to help!!! So I stuck to my points today ANd I did my turbo jam workout! YAY me!! I don't think I'll lose any this week, but I'll be happy to not gain. Hopefully next week? We'll just wait and see! |

Kelly - I do make better choices now. I was in a 16 when I got pg. Even when I was less than BFP weight I couldn't get into them. My body has definatly changed. Honeybee - they were regular snickers, I've done them on the point slider and the online calculator. I didn't have one though.For supper today I had 2 FF Turkey hot dogs on a wheat bun with ketchup. It's 8:45 and I haven't got on the elliptical. I am waiting for Grey's to go off, then I'll see if I wake Rhylee up or not on that loud ass thing. I hope not!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
