Robin-they tell you that those who eat all of their daily points and their 35 weekly points have more success than those who don't, but I hardly ever eat all my points.
If I have something special to go to where there is food, then I might cut into my extra 35 weekly pts.
Otherwise, I usually don't.
I agree though. Why eat if you are not hungry?

Robin - wow I wish I could stay under my points like that. LOL!!! Maybe add a fruit or veggie to get all your points in, but I don't think it's going to stop you from losing weight. GREAT job!!!

Well I'm so far behind here on the posts. I am down another 3.5 this week. It is going good. Some days are harder to keep to the cals. other days are fine. I have made it to the gym 3 times this week. I have a free 1 week pass to this gym around here. It is super nice and has a ton for the kiddos. I would love to join, dh wants us too. But is in expensive and with everything going up, I'm trying to be careful. I may do it month to month for the summer, then decide about a full membership after that. Anyway, great job everyone! I'm so proud of all of us.

robin-I was always told to use all your points for better results. My one gf always uses just about her points and does great.

Those girls so much. I'll tell you what I had today.

Breakfast - Ultra Skim milk 1 cup - 2 points added chocalate syrup 1 point
Watermelon 1 cup - 1 point
Lunch - WW Zero point soup
WW Frozen snack 2 points

Dinner - Chicken and side total around 10 points

Snack - 2 points

So I will have about 18-20 points today. Somedays will be higher when I don't eat the veggie soup for lunch. I normally have a granola bar for breakfast too but we are out and those are only 2 points. Thanks so much girls for all the advice. I try to talk to DH about this and I know he is tired of hearing about it lol.

I remember them saying the same thing when I did WW.

What I know from personal experience is this: a couple months ago, I was having a lunch 'crisis' where I wasn't for myriad reasons eating lunch, though eating good breakfast and dinner, and not adding in junk snacking or anything. And the weeks where I did NOT eat lunch were the weeks where I had less or even NO loss. Just tellin' ya...

robin-I got burnt out on the soup after a while. But if you are enjoying it and it is working for you, go for it. Your doing great with keeping up with the points and figuring everything out. You've got great will power. Want to share some? Just kidding, I'm back and focused now. Going to the gym really is helping me focus.

Robin - what is the recipe for that soup...i would like to try it. You are doing great, I have no background with WW so I have no input on the points things. GL

Karen - Good luck with the 10 lbs in a month, if anyone can do it you can. I agree the video games can get out of control. I teach middle school and every monday I ask the kids what they did over the weekend and that is all i ever hear...played video games. uugghh

Vicky - you are doing great. I would love to join a gym too but with the pay cut I took to teach I don't think now would be the best time.

I have done okay until tonight. I found out today that I passed my business Content test and my DH bought me ice cream to celebrate - well frozen yogurt actually but that was totally cancelled out by the Reeces pb cup that was in it. Oh well....at least I passed my test. I am going to try to be better about working out.

Sorry I probably missed some people I am tired and ready for bed. Have a great weekend all.

I get 24 pts a day and I have NO problem eating them all! I'm sure it's out of boredom more than anything. Stupid repetitive work. Ha, ha!

I need to start doing alot better though. I was up a pound this week, but I had pizza last night and I drank a ton of water after so...I'll call it even

Karen - My goal is 10 pounds by the end of the month, too. I'm going back to counting calories. When deciding on how many calories, you have to look at how much exercise you're doing and your own personal metabolic rate. If you're one who loses easily with minimal exercise, you can eat more calories each day. I can lose, when I stick with it and exercise at least 5 times a week (at least 30 minutes a day), but it doesn't have to be hard core exercise (I couldn't run a mile to save my @$$). Anyway, I was eating 1600 calories/day. The main goal is to burn more calories than you consume. Good luck figuring that out exactly. I know there are charts out there that tell you how many calories are burned from a certain activity. Maybe this will help...

Vickie - Congrats on the loss!

Karen - I need to lose another 10, too, and haven't made much progress here either - With my crazy past, I'm just trying so hard to eat like a "normal" person that what "works" for me changes every few weeks.

Well I have been counting calories and power walking so we shall see...I tried to run today but my breasts HURT after a few minutes. If I can't run again I will jsut DIE do you hear me???? I have to tell myself it has only been four weeks but GOSH I hate this!! That was something I never thought would be an issue. I miss it SO much!

I don't think losing this ten pounds will be easy....UGH! I have been so good eating and then tonight we are going to Carraba's with our friends. Tell me what to eat while I am there...I LOVE bread and PASTA!! Is there a lowfat option? I am off to check out their website and maybe I will make it a point to only eat half!

Karen - Something off the diabetic menu might be good. We don't have Carraba's here. Looks good.

Vickie~ WAY TO GO on the weight loss! You are doing so well! 10.5 pounds already. Good job!!

Christie~ YAY for running. I always feel so much better after I'm DONE working out.

Karen~ I agree with the others, you WILL run again!

Robin~ I am like Cassie - I can eat 23 pts a day and I have NO PROBLEM eating them all....I always want more!

I checked the scale this morning. The exercise must have helped - I was 175. 1 stupid baby pound to go and only 1 week to get it off! I can't believe Jaicee will be 9 months old so soon! Then I need to lose another 14 lbs to get to my goal of 160, and once I'm there I'll reevalutate and see if I want to go for 5 more.

Jenna - You will be there before you know it! I am proud of you because I know how hard it has been for me to drop the weight. My body has changed since having Marika and I did not notice it until I started dropping weight...let's just say that some crunches are definitely a priority now! I can't believe how fast our babies are growing. It seems like a couple of months ago that Marika was born.
