Kel~ Great job on the workouts!

Steph~ Let me know how your new and improved diet for the week goes. I almost thing it's better for you to have the protein, so let us know how it goes.

I got in a workout last night! (finally!) I did my turbo jam. Tonight I have a hot date planned with my treadmill. I'll keep y'all posted.

Jenna ~ I thought about that too in the past few days. So last night when I was writing down a list, I looked at it carefully, and I still have milk and cheese, and if I add in some HB eggs, and perhaps a slice of bread with peanut butter once or twice, I think that should keep me good with the proteins, while still letting me have the refreshment of a week with a lot of fruits and veggies. Lighten things up for a week or two, and see how my tastebuds and eating desires are after that.

It was working really well before, but I've gotten a bit sick of it. I had a hot fudge cake sundae from Sonic for dinner on Sunday night, for Pete's sake...I'd been craving sweets for about four days and finally said 'okay, then do it and quit thinking about it. I need to mix things up a little and hit the reset button, cause I'm so sick of eating again. And that's when I'm going to fall down.

I will certainly let y'all know how it goes and how I feel.

Steph-hang in there, a few setbacks aren't going to stop you. We all need a brownie now and then.

Christie-I love those 100 calorie popcorn bags, kettle corn is my fave! I have the same water problem-I drink so much water at work, but hardly any when I'm home!

Kelly-keep up the good work. You will look hot for Hannah's b'day!

I still haven't done any real workouts (besides BD, lol) but my eating is going great and I no longer have to constantly hold my stomach in. Yesterday I wore a shirt that was too tight on me just a couple of weeks ago!

Steph sounds like a great plan!

I just got back from a four or five mile run (not sure haven't measured it.) With TONS of BIG hills so I am POOPED! Leaving for VA with the kids int he morning so won't be on unless I check in at my grandma's. Talk to you when I get back...

Keep up the good work girls!!

Karen - that's awesome that you can run so far.

Bina - great news a/b your shirts getting looser.

Steph - I think that happens to everyone - that they get tired of what they're eating and that those little hassles can cause big problems. I think your change will be good. Deciding, screw this, I'll just eat Whataburger everynight, would be a mistake, but this will probably help you.

Jenna - good for you for a workout!

Christie - can you tell me just a little a/b your intervals as you started running?

Today didn't go so well. I ate good during the day and had a great healthy dinner planned. But by the time I got home, I was soooo hungry I was shaking. I ate last night's leftovers, 3 corn tortillas, a little debbie cake, and chocolate covered raisins. Then I took Hannah for a 25 minute walk just to get away from the food. I felt like I was starving to death. And so exhausted, too. I think the eating will get better next week when DH is working late, b/c I can have my meal ready and eat it as soon as I get home if I'm starving like that.

Also, I think I would like to start running. I can't figure out how it will work though. I don't know how smart or safe it would be to do early in the morning, but by the time DH gets home, it will be dark. It could work great in the summer b/c I could go before he leaves for work, but for the next 11 weeks, I need to figure out how I can do it.

Kelly- Learning to run is probably one of the most rewarding things I have done. It doesn't take very much time in the beginning. I will PM you the website of the group I run with. You can find the information in the walk to run group (the pack I think it is called) and there is a detailed itinerary on the intervals to do on certain days of the week to build up to a 5K in 30 minutes. Good luck!

Kelly, that happens to me too. The thinking you are doing okay, and can make it til dinner, but then you are SO hungry and energy depleted that you will just take whatever you can get, and don't even have the energy to fix what you had planned. That was one of the things behind my switching to eating MORE at one time, instead of little meals. I was so sick of thinking about food all the time. It trained me (mostly ) to be actually satisfied. But if I let myself get hungry and my energy and blood sugar drops...I can get there easily too.

I bought a big tray of blackberries at Costco last night. Yummy. And had some chocolate. No, I ate dinner, but I decided that I'd like a chocolate bar, and gave myself permission to get one from the gas station on the way home. I stood there in front of the candy and really thought about what I wanted, instead of quickly grabbing something, like being embarrassed to be buying candy; even looked at a few labels. I discovered last year that candy isn't nearly as 'bad' as most people think compared to a lot of other foods we eat. So, I chose a Hershey bar; what I wanted was chocolate. But I didn't even finish it.

Kelly~ Good job for going on that walk with Hannah. I've been that hungry before, too. It sucks because then I just eat whatever is in sight, and really fast so i consume a ton of calories in no time at all! i hate that.

Bina~ YAY for fitting into more clothes!

Christie~ Can you pm me that website, too? I'd like to check it out.

So last night i did an ab workout (my abs are KILLING me today!) some free weights (arm/chest/back workout) then 40 minutes on the treadmill. YAY for a good workout! I'm not sure what I'm doing tonight. Dh doesn't get home from work until 8pm, so I'll see what Jaicee lets me do before he gets home. I'd at least like to get in the ab workout again, and maybe if I put her in her jumparoo she'll let me do the treadmill for about 20 minutes. We'll see.

Two victories for today - I almost stayed w/in my WW points range today (soooo much better than yesterday) and I did the first workout of Christie's 10 week "learn to run" program. I got a few good things at the store tonight to get me through the next couple of days.

Kelly- That is AWESOME. You are not going to believe how good you feel and how quickly you build up stamina. Too bad we don't live closer.. we could run together.

Knee is still bummed out. Hurts to walk. I guess I need to go to the doctor.

Christie~ I'm so sorry about your knee! I didn't get a chance to workout last night. Hopefully tonight! And when you get a minute can you send me your running website? I'm interested in it. Maybe I can learn some things to help me in my own quest to run. Thanks!

Kelly ~ Good job on getting healthier foods and starting the program!

Christie ~ Your program is a hit!

Heather ~ 35 min. is great.

Bina ~ Yay for new clothes. I told DH I was excited to be getting to wear "new" old clothes, lol.

Well, with Ashlyns growth spurt and tests coming up I have been eating like a PIGLET! But...I have gotten in a lot of walking on campus and Ashlyn and I have gone on a couple of walks. Plus she was really sucking a lot (literally) out of me those 2 days of her g.s. so I guess maybe it all evens out in the end. I have been the exact same weight since about 4 weeks postpartum. I put together a little pre-preg, 39 week preg, and 2.5 month postpart. (on Easter) picture. Not as small as pre-preg yet (don't think ever will be again - oh well) but a lot smaller than fully preggo haha. The pre-preg pic has made me want to do better though. During exams my weakness is candy and coffee creamer/sugar so that is what I am going to try to avoid. Wish me luck!

I updated my ticker today! I'm only 2lbs away from my March goal! Since I'm halfway through the 2ww I'm going to wait until AF shows to start back on the workouts and just focus on the diet in the meantime.

Kayla-I have to say that still I hate you, seriously though you look great, I think you look even thinner now than you did pre-PG!

Jenna-great job on those workouts! My stomach has always been my "problem area" so after being PG it definitely needs extra attention, lol.

Chrisite-that stinks about your knee, hope it gets better soon.

Heather-you are getting so close to your goal! We need pics!

Steph-evening is my weak time too, I have ff popcorn and low sugar oatmeal when I need a late night snack.

Kelly-that is great on the running and eating! I would love to learn to run too, but have always thought it was boring.
