Karen- Everyone has their down times.. let it go, move on. Get a good work out in today and you will feel better. Keep us posted!
And thanks for the compliment.. still have some work to do though. I have a question for everyone. I feel like I am really excited about the changes in my body and have shared that excitement with my family. Well, I get the feeling some of them are sick of hearing about it. It sort of hurt my feelings, but on the same token I understand. One of my family members used to battle an eating disorder and I think I upset her talking about it. I think I am going to make it a goal to only share my excitement and successes with yall for awhile. I don't want to make things harder for her.. I know it must be a daily struggle to not "fall back" into that old routine even though it has been 5 or so years since she recovered. KWIM? |

Christie- Oh I totally understand! Feel free to share the good and the bad with us. YOU SHOULD BE EXCITED!! You look great! How is your dh reacting?
Oh and I am PMSing...lol that isn't helping me any. I am going ot get that workout in and maybe go tan and that will lift my spirits it always does. We all want to look and feel good. I am going to start back to the gym I think. I have been hesitant with Riley but she LOVES to be around people and babies so I think it would be way harder on me than her. My good friend works there and we know tons of people that do the childcare SO I am thinking the first step is just doing it. I am going to try it out tomorrow morning at 6am with a friend see what I think and go from there. It is the Y instead of the gym I am currently a member of...So anyway long story short I need to get to the gym and cancel my membership since I am thinking of joining the Y. Sorry for the rambling...I sound like Steph thinking out loud. |

Christie-I've always hard that it can be hard on family members when one person loses weight, some dh's actually sabatoge weight loss efforts because change is hard!
Karen-for me, I only really lose weight if I change my eating habits so that is where I really need to focus! Working out of course will help and is a goal too. I am sure there is a Y in Atlanta. You could probably look it up online to know for sure! |

christie~ Still be proud of yourself! I know what you mean....back about 4 years ago I lost about 50 pounds. I actually got called into the managers office where I worked because people were complaining to her that their feelings were hurt because I was losing weight. Serisosly! I was stunned....I felt like, hell, if they wanted to lose weight then diet and exercise like the rest of us. After that I felt like everything had to be a secret. It was such a PITA. We're all here to help and support you, so stay proud, mama! Ok, my goal this week is 5 workouts and 2 pounds. We'll see if I make it. I've only got one workout in so far for the week. |

Thanks girls. I appreciate the support. My DH is very supportive and I do WW with my mom and aunt so they are supportive as well. I just have to let it go...

Christie - Way to go. You are looking so good in the pictures you have posted.
Jenna - You have to be kidding?! Were you running around saying "i lost 50 lbs, i lost 50lbs??" I could see be called in for doing that but I know you weren't doing that. Some people are crazy. Keep up the good work. Down another pound. I am in the 120's!! 129 but I don't care, I haven't seen the 120's since college.

Karen - I'm glad you're going back to the gym. I wish I could do that, but it won't happen in the near future. Christie - you look great. Sorry you're getting negative feedback. That's great that your mom, aunt and DH are supportive - just share your successes with them. Jenna - that's nuts! OK - you're all going to be disappointed in me. Today I bought some diet pills. I just can't handle this anymore right now. ***WAY TMI alert - Last night DH and I were BDing doggie style. He told me my butt looks good, which is a good thing. A couple of weeks of consistently working out would make my thighs and butt look great again, and the stretch marks have all faded. But here's the gross part - I actually had to hold my stomach out of the way b/c it hangs down so far. So diet pills it is - I will definately avoid TTC for the next couple of months b/c of taking them. I know I'm taking a chance at ruining my fertility, but at this point, it's either diet pills or start puking again.

Laura what is your secret?? You are doing great!
Kelly the last thing I am thinking about when doing the DEED is how far down my belly is hanging.. lol I just let it all hang out. TRUST me my dh is so excited to be near a naked body he isn't noticing!! Besides your dh loves you and a few pounds due to having a baby shouldn't change that. Are you feeling pressure from him to lose this weight or is it just something within yourself that you are battling with? Don't get me wrong I want to be 120 and perfect too so I am not judging you. Kelly-sorry you are feeling so down on yourself. If you are going to take the diet pills, just be careful with them since you've already had those fainting spells. I know I feel like I must be the only woman in the world to have lost all her PG weight right away, and then gain it all back over the year!!
