I gain weight all over and I lose weight all over. I am down to 153 pounds and still wear a 12 loosely and a 10 comfortable. I think it will take 145 or below to get to 8's which stinks bc I am 5'8" and already in my healthy weight range. Grr... So frustrating. I am hoping that toning things up will help the clothes situation.

Did my cardio that I usually do on Wednesday today because it was raining and I didn't have time to go the Y to get on the treadmill. I will run tomorrow and Friday instead. And of course Saturday with the group..

Food is my enemy this week. I haven't eaten bad stuff (seeing as I gave up sweets for Lent and there is no junk food in my house) but just too much and too heavy of things. That's me today.. LOL

Steph- You are doing so good!! I'm with everyone else, I can't wait to see recent pics!

Christie- I feel like this week I can eat and eat and eat and eat too. I guess all of us just goes thru that! Yuck. Good job on getting your cardio in today!

Karen- Chilis----YUM!!!! I just love that place. Hope you had a good time!

I got my cardio in tonight. 10 minutes on the treadmill and 20 on the elliptical. I'm going to try to get in an ab workout tonight before bed. We'll see.

Is it bad to not really eat lunch? I've noticed over the past week or two I'm less and less interested in lunch. I start the morning off with about 8-10oz of gatorade with my vitamins and stuff when I sit in the living room and de-zombify first thing in the morning. Then I eat so much for breakfast (3 slices of toast, 1oz or so of cheese, 12oz milk w/carnation powder), usually by 11am. I have the rest of my 32oz gatorade by the end of the workday usually, and dinner around 7:30 or 8pm, generally a meat with veggies and a good amount of water (uh, last night, I had a pile of cocktail shrimp, a bit of cheese, and a hostess cupcake. Two nights ago, I had four glasses of wine, a valium, and two hostess cupcakes... ). I'm just not too interested in lunch most days - even late in the day. I've been having a little cheese or a piece of fruit late in the day, and I'm not getting hungry until dinner is ready. I know I'm getting enough calories and fats, because I'm not eating low-fat or really low-calorie type stuff. I'm just wondering if I start planning a little snack in the late afternoon and stop worrying about lunch, well, I don't want to un-do anything I've done to turbo-charge my metabolism. I dunno. I guess I'll see on Sunday if it's doing anything bad. I did loose 3lbs two weeks ago and 2lbs last week. If my body thought it was crash-dieting from the drop in intake or whatever, it will have stopped by this weekend I'd think, but I really think I'm getting plenty of calories. I'm wondering about the amount of time between meals I guess.

I dunno. I just have that 'I'm getting tired of food' feeling again. Probably doesn't help that I've been feeling sick to my stomach off and on for the past week and a half. And I know valium acts as a bit of an appetite suppressant for me.

I don't know what I'm babbling about now.

Steph, I would keep a bag full of almonds or dried cranberries around and just have handful of those on the days you dont feel like eating. IT will keep your blood sugar even and help keep your motabolism working.

That's a good idea. Actually almonds are my favorite nuts. (Naaaaaah, y'all are my favorite nuts... ) I also thought about hwole grain cereal...like Life or I think Total raisin bran. I always have milk around cause it's part of my breakfast every day, so that might be a good option for a snack.

Steph~ I agree with the other girls. It's not a good idea to skip lunch altogether, even if you aren't hungry. So the almonds or dried fruit are great alternatives.

I've only gotten in ONE workout this week. I need to go get my butt on the treadmill. If I work out the next 3 days I'll at least get 4 workouts in this week. UGH.

I eat a lot of nuts. I just had a handful of mixed nuts as my "after school snack" LOL at still getting to say that. Apples are also really good at keeping your blood sugar stable and a healthy, quick, and easy thing to just always having laying around. Esp. since they keep a pretty long time compared to other fruits. An apple a day......

Steph - I'm having a similar problem to you. I'm not that interested in dinner. I NEVER thought that would happen. I used to go all day w/ouit eating, but at night, I have to eat. Now, I do good w/ bkfast and lunch and then I'm starving late afternoon, but have a snack and eat a tiny dinner. I put the scale up so I don't know if my current eating plan is working for me or not. I guess I should choose an outfit to go by. I worked out once so far this week.

Karen- No, DH has a little cold/sinus thing going and he didn't feel well. Mama pumped up the Aerosmith on her ipod and hit the road. LOL DH and I ordered a Garmin portable armband gps for me that will tell me how far I run, pace, etc.. It shipped today and I should have it by Monday. I am SUPER excited about it. I never splurge on stuff like that for myself. I'll let you know what I think when I get it. What music do you run to?

Kelly- I am the same way.. starving at bfast, lunch, snack time, not so hungry at dinner. I think it is a good thing. We shall see I guess!

Christie I am into contemporary christian but yesterday I was running to Chris Daughtry, Taylor Hicks and Lenny Kravitz....LOL Strange combo huh? I LOVE Daughtry's cd have you ever listened to it? Yes I am an American Idol lover but these guys really have some good stuff. I was on a big hill and American Woman By Lenny Kravitz came on and I found the energy from the song to MAKE it. I jsut got a new shuffle for when I am running since it is small so that is all I have downloaded so far. I really need to put some more on there. Darren has AC/DC(lol) on his and it is actually great running music. I had to borrow his the other day since mine needed to be charged. Aerosmith huh?

Crazy right.. but it pumps me up. I generally listen to country or oldies and those just don't do it for running. So yesterday it was Aerosmith. Gotta stay upbeat and distracted!
