Default March Weight Loss

I was supposed to meet my goal in March - doesn't look like that's going to happen for me, but maybe it will for someone else.

Yeah, I was supposed to reach my goal by the end of March too, but I don't think I'll pull off 30lbs in 30 days. And if I do, there's something seriously wrong. I'm good though, I'm going at a healthy rate.

I'm with you guys. I was supposed to meet my goal by March 8th (Jaicee's 6 month mark) and I'm pretty sure I still have 10-12 baby pounds to go. Oh, well. I gained 57 pounds, so at least I've already lost 45ish of them. That's not anything to complain about, I guess.

On a brighter note, I did my turbo jam last night and jogged 3 miles on the treadmill this morning with the incline on again. Man do my butt and quads kill right now!

Steph~ LOL about needing someone to hold your boobs! I have that problem, too. I hate being a DD. Can't wait to lose enough weight to get back to do a D, baby!

Karen~ You poor thing, running your boobs off. You can have half of mine. I have plenty to go around!

Ok, I ate SOO bad tonight! We went to SIL house for dinner. She made hamburgers and cake. I brought a veggie tray, but it's not like I could eat veggies for dinner. I found the SMALLEST hamburger patty there was. Man it was good. I also had a small slice of the chocolate cake. Now I feel like I need to go get back on the treadmill.

Jenna- get back on the treadmill if it makes you feel better. I have went for a quick walk or jog to take away guilt but then again not too often do I feel guilt over chocolate...I wish I did. LOL

Okay so instead of my 5 workouts I am going to have 6!! Woo hoo! It is beautiful here today, we just got through with lunch and a few chores after church so I am going for a run when Riles goes down. Can't wait!

Steph I don't want to hear about it I want to SEEEEEEEEEE the new you!

Kayla you do need to make sure you are getting enough food and liquids while nursing. No dieting recommended but I don't need to tell you that...You are going to be a doctor And I did gain when I weaned Riley!

I am going up and down with weight..One day I am 135- the next 138?? Not sure what that is?? Oh well.

OK, I am determined (again). I can do anything for 30 days, right? I am going to eat so good for the next 30 days, and get some exercise in. DH told me not to weigh myself at all until the 30 days is over. He says if I do and see that I lost a couple of lbs, I'll think it's OK to cheat. I think that is a great idea, but we might have to lock the scale up since I can't stay off of it. I think I'll go weigh myself right now, then put it in the closet and weigh myself on April 1.

Kelly-sound like a great plan! I am the opposite, I have to weigh every day and if I have lost weight than I am more motivated. I think not having a scale since moving in June until Christmas is why I gained all that weight!

Christie-WTG on all the weight loss, you are so close to your goal!

Jenna-I have DH HIDE any chocolates from me and ration them out, but then I get so mad when I really want them and he has to tell me no!

Kayla-I was RAVENOUS when I was BF, I was way more hungry then I ever was PG and I actually lost a little more weight after I stopped!

Blah. I weighed myself this morning and I didn't lose anything last week. Hopefully I'm still holding on to water weight or something since AF just ended yesterday. Hopefully next week will be better.

Jenna-don't let it bring you down! Remember, you are building muscle (also from carrying Jaicee around!) and muscle weighs more than fat

Oh Blah Jenna, I am sorry. Great job on the workouts just the same. You are making yourself healthy for Jaicee and that's worth every second.

Kelly- That's a great plan! I used to only weigh once a week, but I have been bad lately about weighing every day.

Bina- My DH would be terrible at rationing chocolate. He would either give in to me or eat them all himself. LOL

Karen- That's awesome mama. I worked out 6 days this week too and then today I wore Charlie in the snugli and walked 1/2 of the disc golf course while DH played and then took a short stroll around the block.. so technically I did something every day.. but todays was pretty weak! LOL

Not much to report here. Just staying busy busy.

Tiffany- I do WW. I have lost 27 lbs so far. I get most of my recipes off of the WW website. Somewhere on here we have a thread for it, I will find it and bump it for you! Good luck!

Well, Hannah decided that I could not exercise at 5am today b/c that is when she woke up. I knew she would just keep DH awake if I got up and I didn't see any point in us both being awake. We're going to have BAD weather tonight, but maybe I can at least stretch, do sit ups or something if we watch TV.

Got in a great run today then came back and took Carter and Jackson for a long walk. Carter rode his bike. Now my feet are hurting!! Boy does running on pavement again versus a treadmill make a BIG difference. And with hills my feet are sliding all around in my shoes. Got a few new blisters..Such is life when running! Boy do I LOVE it.

Okay, down another 2lbs this week. And I did my waist measurement this weekend too...ouch. From a 26 inch waist until I was 21 to a 37 inch waist now...that smarted. Jeez, I don't even want to know what it was six months ago. But I'm hoping thats where the next 15lbs will come from, cause that's where the first 15-20lbs went that summer I gained so much when I was 21.

Keep it up everyone.

Karen ~ Yeah, yeah, I know. Soon.

Jenna ~ I like being a DD, I have been since I was about 17. I SERIOUSLY need new bras. I have a bunch of 38DDs, three 36DDs, and the 36DDs are even a little big around, so I really need to be back in a 34. But the DD part is here to stay. LOL! I checked it out on Victoria's Secret the other day and I can get five of them for about $100, so that is going to be a priority. I learned a long time ago that with bras, you get what you pay for, so I don't buy cheapies ever. I found a style that was both pretty and functional when I was 16 at Vickie's Place (our pet name for Victoria's Secret) and have stuck with it faithfully. So, yeah, new bras are a major need right now. I'm getting away with what I have for now, but...ugh. Bras that are too big are worst than bras that are too small...

EDIT: BTW, I had one Hostess chocolate cupcake and four glasses of cheap white zinfandel from the gas station for dinner last night. You know the little four-pack...ROFLMAO! Not the normal, but I've lost my mind now.

Okay, I'm also officially stating that these pants are way too big. This is my first actual disappointment, cause these are the pants I had hanging in the closet brand new since a year or so ago, never been worn until December. First time I wore them was as our company Christmas party. Now they are way too big. This sucks (well, not completely ), cause I love them, and I've barely worn them. So, THIS pair, I may take to the tailor and have taken in. Cause I love them.
