Cassie ~ WTG girl! Keep it up!

Jenna ~ SB sounds pretty easy...except phase one! I know you are totally right, what I eat she eats. I've done good today! 2 glasses of OJ (homesqueezed), some Life cereal, and some water. NO Dr. Pepper yet. I think I'll have a Marie Calenders chicken pot pie for lunch.

Lunch is a tough one for me because first off I don't cook...and second I feel like there is no time with Ashlyn (she is napping now, but I can't have lunch at 11:00...that's too early). So, I usually end up eating something frozen that you pop in the oven until its done like corn dogs, pizza, pot pies, etc. or totally forget about lunch and then go CRAZY in the evenings. Oh well, I will try to get in a walk this evening now that there isn't really much to do to our house but maintain the clutter-free zone. No better way to do that than get out of the house right?

EDIT: Whoa! I just looked at how many calories those pot pies have (as I popped one in the oven)....1040! Guess I need to start looking at some alternative quick lunches.

Kayla - get you some lean cuisines or smart ones...I love those!

I just had a YUMMY burger!!! It was 8 points but SOOO filling! 5 for the meat, 1 for cheese, 2 for my bread! I added lettuce, tomato, onion, mustard & ketchup! I had sliced cucumber & tomato for my side!!!

So according to my scale, my ticker is correct!

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY Cassie! That is GREAT!!

Kayla okay we offically HATE you! (Not really) You don't workout, you eat all the goodies we try and deny ourselves and you are the SMALLEST one on the board. Man I wish I had you genes! You are so LUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to work form 7 this morning until 2:30 this afternoon at the church cookout. I am BEAT! I ate terribly They had Grandma;s choc chip cookies and I ate two packs which means four BIG cookies. NOT good! Also ate a BBQ sandich but passed on the chips. Today is the only day I haven't worked out though so I guess not too bad. The gym is closed July 2,3 and 4th for some updates so I will have to get those days in on my own.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Riley is screaming so I gotta run.

Cassie - That is great!! Keep up the good work!!

Jenna - Thanks! I'm wanting to switch over to SB by the end of the year. I tried adding back some things into my diet and didn't work out so well, kind of stalled for a bit and with me working I'm not drinking enough water while I'm out. I cut back on somethings and back I'm losing again.

I've been doing phase 1 of Atkins for 11 weeks now with 31.4 lbs lost! While I'm at work on my 15 min break I have 2 cheese sticks, an Atkins shake for 2 net carbs and 1 Atkins candy bar for 2 or 3 carbs depending on which one I bring. Then when I get home its a nice serving of meat ( shrimp, kabobs, steak ,chicken wings, ribs etc) salad w/ mayo and nuts, tomato dill & feta w/ olive oil ( or shelled tomato w/ tuna onion mayo, dill and cheese on top) and asparagus wrapped in prosciutto in balsamic vinegar & olive oil grilled on BBQ which is my fav and I make it twice a week with enough for dh and I to have each day.

Great job Tammi! Yum your meals sound GOOD!

Karen you are a riot, you are our HOT mama over here! That stinks for the people that have to update the gym during the holiday.

Kayla, don't worry, you will get back on track.

I've done much better today. Coffee with cream and a can of mandarin oranges for bfast (I know odd, but they sounded good) and a Tony's frozen pizza (400 cal) and pudding cup (120) with cranberry juice to drink for lunch. Last night was bad...but sooo good. I COOKED! I never cook but since I have the summer off and DH works so much I've decided I'll give it a whirl (sp?) so DH can have some father daughter time with Ashlyn when he gets home instead of cooking. So I am going to try to cook at least 2 nights a week. Anyways, I cooked out of our southern living cookbook, chicken in cream cheese and butter stuffed inside of crescent rolls and you dip them in butter and roll them in crunched up croutons and bake and then cover with white gravy. YUM they were good I had 2! We had snow peas with them. I did it ALL! Except for touching really hot stuff, that freaks me out so DH has to put stuff into boiling pots and get things out of the oven. I made so many dirty dishes though.

Kayla-I love those pot pies, but they are so baad for you, lol! I also never used to cook, but ever since Avery started eating regular food I know I had to and if I plan it out its really not that bad. Plus I make really EASY dishes with enough for leftovers so am only cooking 3 times a week or so and use the crockpot a lot! HTH.

Cassie-Go you!! Are you still going to meetings or just doing WW on your own?

I started my food journal and I've been doing good so far (all 2 days of it, lol) I did go out to lunch today at work with the girls instead of eating what I brought from home, BUT I have not had any chocolate or mindless after dinner snacks which is my weakness.

I ordered the 8min abs workout (which also has 8 mins, bun, legs, etc on it) AND a friend gave me a Pilates DVD which I am going to try tomorrow. Pilates is my fave workout so I hope its good!

I need to get at ticker to get me motivated..

Yumm Kayla that sounds good! Good job on cooking. I made dinner lastnight and popped a peach cobbler in the oven afterwards.... Did I need to make a peach cobbler???? NO I didn't so why do I do that?? Southern habit I guess? We think our men need dessert. lol Needless to say he was pleased but afterwards I was like UGH we are leaving for the beach and I am eating crazy stuff that I don't need to be eating.

I am off to the gym for cardio boot camp. Honestly the hardest class I have ever taken. I am actually dreading it. lol Once I get there I will be glad but in the meantime I am TIRED! The gym is closed the rest of the week so I have to go today. Hopefully I will get a walk/run in with the kids the rest of the week or I may meet friends for walk/talks as we like to call them. Either way I really need to do soemthing. Can't wait to run with dh at the beach. So fun and relaxing to get up before everyone else and go for a run and be done in time for breakfast.

Cassie I can't wait to see how you've done at WW this week. I am thinking five pounds!

Bina let m know how that video is! I have always wanted to get great abs in 8 minutes.

Karen - WOW you think 5...I got some work to do... I think at least 3 maybe a little more. I still have a few days to go though.

I have my journal in front of me and I'm writing everything down that I have with me to eat today. Now I have all day to plan supper!

Holy cow-a 1000 calorie pot pie? Sheesh!

Karen- LOL, DH only WISHES I would give him dessert....guess it is a southern thing!

OK, so after my initial 5lb drop, I gained three back and it took me all week (and a trip to the RR ) to get that 3 back off . I've been doing pretty good with my eating....it's my walking that I'm avoiding. I'm finding it hard to stay motivated. In the past when I've dropped good amounts of weight, there was always something that kept me focused. Once it was even an episode of CSI where a fat girl smothered her lover and killed him- and I was suddenly terrified I'd kill DH in my sleep- I know I'm weird.

But this time, nothing. Nada. I mean, yeah, I want to quit buying bigger clothes, and I certainly want to bring those numbers down from my last b/w, but I'm just so blah about it. I dunno, just needed to get that out, I guess. Sorry.
