robin-that is wonderful news! You are doing great.

Well I am done 5 lbs for this week. Wow, the gym really helped out. I extremely happy with that. Otherwise, really craving things today. But I'm just trying to drink my water and keep cleaning and getting ready for the cookout tomorrow. Great job everyone, still with it!!!!!

Well we got in a four mile hike afterall. Got caught in a slight rain storm but wasn't too bad. BIG hills so I wasn't sure little Carter would make it but he did great. My heart rate was really up so I knew his had to be. We had a great time. Riley included even though she isn't feeling good. We are planning to go fishing tomorrow since we didn't get to camp. Thundering now so it is coming....

YAY Vicki! That is great five pounds!! WOOHOOO You keep up the good work and you will be there in no time!

I am fixing some LITE smked suasage with potatoes and onions and green peppers and throw them in a tortilla with some salsa. YUMMO! The sausage is cooking now. Gotta run. Have a great weekend girls.

I have been forgetting to keep up with this thread..oops!

Karen-I am the same way, now that I am so used to eating at home I prefer home cooked meals to fast food. But french fries are my weakness!

Robin-that is so great you wore your capris, I bet you looked hot!

Vicki-you are doing awesome too!

Sarah-once the boys are a little older they will want whatever you are eating, so it is great you have decided to cut out fast food. I know having Avery has forced me to cook healthier and plan meals. It is much easier than I ever thought it would be.

I am still in the contemplation stage of losing weight, but by the beginning of next week I will hopefully be ready to get serious. My Dr. wants me to wait until Monday before working out, I am so ready to work out out again!!! I need to TIVo some new workouts from FITtv.

Robin~ YAY for fitting into cute capris!!!

Karen~ YAY for your 4 workouts this week. I've only done ONE!!! Well....and 3 DTD's. Those count, right?

Kelly~ I am SO proud of you! Good for you for going. Just keep up with it, things will happen as they should. (((hugs)))

Cassie~ YAY for going to your WW meeting!!! High 5 to you!

Ok, girls. I have decided to go back on the South Beach Diet. I have done it before, and it is such a healthy way to eat. I've been eating nothing but crap for about a month now, and haven't exercised much in the past 2 weeks. I got out my book so I'm going to re-read it over the next two days to help me with motivation, and on Sunday I am starting it! I am also shooting for 3-5 workouts a week. So that's the plan and I'll keep everyone updated.

Jenna - sounds like a great plan!

Cassie - you probably burned some cals cleaning.

We are going out of town in the morning and I won't be back 'til Tuesday, but that's our anniversary, so I probably won't check in until Wednesday. My plan for the trip eating wise, and I guess really for the whole month of July, is NO EATING AFTER 8:00PM (except maybe on our anniversary depending on what time we can go out to eat). I don't think I'll lose weight doing that, but it will keep me from gaining on this trip and the beach trip, and I will try a little harder between the 2 trips to maybe get 5 lbs off. I packed workout clothes and, if I wake up w/ my alarm, I'm going for a quick run in the morning.
I'm off to do a few minutes of Yoga now so I can relax - I'm holding a lot of tension and it's causing me pain all over the place, plus trouble sleeping.

Yup, I think good cleaning counts as exercise.

Cleaning def counts as exercise!!!

I am 6 for 6 so far this week. I will not get a workout in tomorrow....Well maybe i can squeeze in a run but I will be doing alot of hard work out in the heat with the big cookout I have to work at church tomorrow. I am sort of dreading it because of the heat.

Went to a cycling class this morning and had a great time. Can I say for any of you that are struggling to workout that a membership could be the answer. I am having a ball! The scale hasn't moved though so I think I have offically plateaued and am STUCK at 135 but that i can live with. What I can't live with is my tummy flab. Did 10 min ab class after cycling. UGHHHHHHHHH GO AWAY YUCKY TUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope everyone has a Great weekend.

Karen - I would love to join a gym honestly it isn't in our budget. I don't know why but I just can't get motivated to exercise. I really wish that I could. You remind me a lot of my brother and soon to be SIL they work out at the gym everyday. For x-mas he bought her a really good bike so she could cycle at home that is her favorite. I wish I wanted to do that.

Vicki - WTG 5lb is awesome!!!!!

Keep the updates coming as you weigh-in over the next few days and post in the group total thread! I'll bet we break 500lbs...we're at 459.1lbs lost so far with just a few updates this month.

Jenna-you will do great on the South Beach Diet! I am debating whether to do South Beach or WW...

Good news, one of the moms at my playgroup gave me a Denise Austin Pilates DVD so I plan to start that!
