Kel ~ Yay! That was crappy for you in college, and B.S. Something similar happened to my friend Gail in high school, where her friend accidentally shot himself, lived as a vegetable for about ten years, and she JUST in the past few years after he died was able to really start to process it. ANYWAY, try to relax a little; you don't have to go in with a list or a plan. A good therapist will be able to help get you comfortable and just get to talking. The topics will come up as they do.
I made it to the grocery store and brought fruit and stuff today. So that's good. |

Kelly good luck today. and I am so proud of you for going!
I am four for four so far this week. It is a set goal for me to workout at the Y at least five days a week now. SO far I am doing that. Feels great. Did a cycling class this morning. WHOAAAAAAA is all I can say! Christie- When are you starting to use that personal trainer dh got you??? Now would be a great time! Well after you test and make sure you are/not preggo. Just remember girls it is GOOD to workout while preggo. Not as hard care as when you are not but you need exercise all the time! How is everyone else doing today. Got a pm from VIcki as she was on her way out the door to the gym! SOOOOOOOOOOO proud of you Vicki!!! |

hay everyone! I am LOVING the gym. I have been going everyday, except for last weekend. The kids love to play there, so far it is going well. I can't wait to weigh in tomorrow. I know crazy huh. I think I'm doing great. Today I did 45 minutes on the treadmill and about 45 minutes swimming laps. I'm tried, but I feel so good. It is great to be working out again. Otherwise, I'm struggling keeping to the 1200 cal. goal I was trying to keep at. Even though I have an IUD and don't get my AF, I really feel about 1 week out of the month that munchy cravings. I have been trying to reach for vegs./fruits. Somedays, that is not easy though. Anyway, I'll check in tomorrow morning. You go girls. I'm so proud of everyone!
cassie-you going to your WW meeting tonight? kelly-good luck today. I'm proud of you, I hope it goes well. karen-I wish I had time to stay today to do the cycling class. Vicki - glad you're feeling good. Karen - WTG on the workouts Steph - glad you got some healthy foods. Tammy - have you forgotten about us? How's your diet going? Robin - what did you end up eating? You're doing so good. Christie - I know how you feel - I was pysched to see 140 and I've been going up from there. I was hoping for 130 by the beach trip and that's in 2 weeks - maybe I can Hit the 130s by then. So I went to my appt today and am going back on Wednesdays for a few weeks, then we'll re-assess. We didn't talk at all about food and body image today. Mainly a/b my marriage and relationship w/ my parents and me feeling so overwhelmed by little things right now. My "homework" is to make a master to do list that I add to as I think of things, but also small, manageable to do lists for the next day before I go to bed at night. I'm also supposed to talk to DH a/b the things at home that he needs to take responsibililty for. |

Well Riles woke with a fever...I think it may be some new teeth but either way she is not feeling good. She had a TEIS appt today here at 9 so I knew I was going ot have to miss my class at the Y. I was going to get up at 6 and run but she was up and down all night so momma was too tired to get up. I may take today off. My muscles could use a breather but if not I may take her out in a bit inthe stroller and get in a long one. Dh is off today so he is taking Carter to his running program and then he is going to the Y to workout. We went for ice cream lastnight because Carter got stung by a wasp and he said that would make him feel better. lol Dh and I shared a cup so that wasn't too bad BUT we got Swiss Dark chocolate with peanut butter cups in it with it all in a choc dipped waffle bowl. BAD BAD BAD girl! SO I really need to workout today. We are supposed to be doing all kinds of fun stuff and camping this weekend but of course Riley is not feeling good and it is supposed to thunder storm tonight. So that is out. Not sure what we will do now. It is always something! |

Can I tell you girls that I am SO excited to go shopping today!!! My WW things I got last night were loaded with some really good coupons!!! I'm inspired and all it took was one meeting. I am soo excited and I AM going to do good!!!
So my goals for today is ... get some healthy food in that house of mine, drink water, AND exercise BEFORE I got pick Rhylee up from Daycare! ![]() |

Of course, Daya talked us into having breakfast tacos this morning. LMAO! But I'll have all my fruit and stuff for lunch instead. Kel ~ You sound a little hesitant, but that's okay. It's a freaky thing at first. The talking will go where it goes...sometimes, you might have something to bring up, sometimes, the counselor might have stuff (like your homework), sometimes, the conversation will go wherever it goes. I'm so glad for you doing this. |

Hey all, remember me? I'm once again dragging my feet over to this board.I haven't lost or gained over the past few weeks. I have been really stressed w/ money issues, so cancelled my WW membership (I have it through the end of this month.) We are probably going to cancel our Y membership as well. We haven't been using it anyway, although now DH comes home earlier so technically we could go together. Maybe I'll keep it one more month and just see. DH and I have decided no more eating out. It's too much money, and not healthy anyway. So we've totally cut fast food out, and eating out is only when not possible to eat at home (lik |
