Kelly-that rec center has some good classes. I was going to step aerobics there 3 times a week before I got PG with Avery.

Vicki and Robin-I am so proud of you ladies and how you've been sticking to it! can't wait to see some "after" pics.

Steph-I bet there is a psychological shift in going from a "big" girl to a slimmer person. I bet you even get treated differently by people.

Today wasn't great eating-wise. We had a farewell lunch for some coworkers at a Mexican Restaurant, and I had some chocs at work too. But for some reason I felt really full so skipped dinner. No 8min Abs today though, I am just wiped out! I'm hoping the food cravings are because AF is on her way!

Christie - Great job on the run. I love breakfast for dinner. Yummy. Might have to do that next week.

Cassie - That sounds great!!

Christie - Way to go on the running!

Bina - Calories from special occasions don't count.

I'm trying to get back to a better place. I made lasagna for dinner last night, but I kept my portion small, and when I put the leftovers away, I put them in servings, so that I would be sure to not over eat later.

And then Dh and I watched a movie last night, and I laid on the floor and did some crunches while I was watching.

Baby steps, right?

Oh, bacon isn't so bad. Actually, I've eaten bacon a lot over the past year -- one of my favorite things is a BLT, with no L and no T. Heh. Just the bacon, which I microwave on papertowels when I make it for sandwiches, miracle whip, on whole wheat bread.

I had a beef fajita taco and a chicken fajita taco, both with cheese, on flour tortillas, for dinner last night. Y'all did better than me...those soft tortillas, man, I know how much caliries and fat they have and nutrient poor. But they're just so good, and just ever so convenient. LOL!

Bina ~ I think it's going to take a long time to 'get' it. Probably seeing pictures of myself frequently will help. I'm still mostly getting the 'wow you've lost so much weight' type comments; I'm not sure if people treat me differently. I noticed the man-stares have come back. Not that anyone's forward with me, but it's something I sense; it's very subtle. I used to get it a LOT when I was younger. I don't mind, it's actually kinda nice, but an odd thing to be seeing again after all these years.

*sigh* the only man-stares I get are when I'm on a job site. Well, duh, I'm the only chic there....and they aren't "hubba hubba" stares, they look more terrified. You know what I'd give to have a man talk to my chest again?

I did outright terrible last night. Can we say off the wagon? We went to our local little cafe. I had nachos and a piece of "Mexican Mousse" pie. (it's chocolate mousse in a graham cracker crust with a cinnamon meringue) Delicious, but enough calories to feed a small country. On the up side, I only ate 1/2 the nachos. yeah, I know pathetic

mere-great job on portion control and exercising during the movie!

cassie-good luck tonight with the weigh in. I bet you'll do great.

Tomorrow is my weigh in morning. We will see how it goes. Today I did the treadmill for 30 minutes and the circuit machines for 3 sets of each of 8 machines I am currently using. Lots of ab's work today. I think I'm shrinking some, I feel like there is less in my middle part when I do some of these back/ab machines. I have my appt. to check my measurements before we leave for vacation. So I'll be interested to see the change.

I am rather disappointed this week...I only lost .6 but better than a gain. I have been trying to stay under 20 pts /day. I am allowed 25, they say you can do 20 for 2 weeks just to shrink your stomach. I think it is time I start eating my 25, maybe my body thought it was starving...sometimes it was. Going update my ticker...

Cassie - Robin and Vicki are right, a loss is a loss!!

Vicki - How'd it go??

I was down .5 lb this morning. Nice to see the number go down for once. Did some more crunches last night. Avoided the box of donuts in the coffee area this morning. Feeling pretty good today.

I weighed in this morning. I'm down 2.6 lbs. Not as much as I hoped, but still a loss. I guess I'm gonna have to really watch my intake this weekend and next week. I did the treadmill again today for 30 minutes, then they had a local salon there giving out $25 gift cards and doing your hair once you got out of the shower. That was cool, normally I wait till I get home to do it. I left feeling pretty good all and all.

Vicki ~ You are doing so great! That is quite a bit (2.6 lbs) you can be happy. That is really cool about the salon!

I had a mis-hap last night! It was actually kind of scary but now I can laugh. Here is what happened and why you should not eat junk food....DH has popsicles in the deep freeze in the garage (I told him to put them there so I will stay out of them). That freezer is really cold too. Well DH talked me into having one with him last night. I took a lick of mine before he did his. MY TONGUE GOT STUCK! BADDD!!! At first I thought it would melt off from the heat of my tongue in no time but it wasn't and I started to freak out DH was laughing he thought I was joking. I tried to talk and couldn't and I was scared he was going to pull it off thinking I was joking...I ran to the kitchen and had to run hot water on my tongue and the popsicle for a couple of seconds and it finally came off. It hurt bad and my tongue was red all night, DH thought it was bleeding it was so red. We thought that only happened as comedy in movies haha like in "Dumb and Dumber." It was really AWEFUL though...and funny after the fact. I still ate the popsicle but wet the whole thing with hot water first.
