Wow, everyone is doing so well. I need to make sure I post everyday to make sure I keep to my goals. This weekend was a huge struggle. But all and all I did really well. I ended up losing an additional........................4.5 lbs last week from the gym!!!!! I'm gonna update my ticker after the post.
kelly-great job on the running and the elliptical. I use the elliptical everyday at the gym. Except I did not go on Sat. though. cassie-you are doing wonderful! Great job with WW. jenna-I LOVED south beach when I did it. The weight comes off fast in the beginning. I'm glad you are enjoying it. WTG on your total weight loss though. You will have those last 15 lbs. off in no time. robin-WTG Girl! You should be so proud. you are doing incredible! laura-wow 8 miles on the bike. I wish I could get out and ride like that. I have a 2 seater bike trailer, but I have not done it with both boys yet. Nathan must love it on the bike. kayla-YA for mattress dancing. We have been doing our fair share of that this last week. Burn calories, burn!Chrystie-Your doing great! Oh, enjoy your trip. Sounds like a blast! I know I'm missing people, I only went back a page or so. I'm gonna try to motivate us like Karen! Lets all have a strong beginning of the week! I'm gonna try to do all my workouts this week everyday at the gym, except Sunday. Plus and additional 30 minutes on swimming laps with Briana playing in the pools there. Now just to make better food choices and I think I'll be good. edit: I just updated my ticker, YA I have finally lost 20 lbs!!!! I'm almost a 1/4 of the way to my goal!!!! |

Cassie - good job on the eating. We are leaving for my parents' on Friday, the beach on Saturday. I just bought some new running shoes that I will try to use a few times before we go, then I can take my old ones for running on the beach. DH told me he wants me to weigh myself before I leave and write it down, then weigh myself again when I get back from vacation - I always end up eating too much when I'm w/ my parents and I don't want to gain 5# in one week. |

Kelly~ Good luck with eating healthy on your trip. Just keep it in the back of your head that you don't want to gain, and hopefully that will help. I always have a hard time on vacations - I want to eat everything in sight!

Vicki-WTG on the 20lbs, you are doing great! Slow and steady wins the race!
I wore one of my new outfits to work today and someone commented that I have gotten "tinier" since she started working there (she's been there a few months). I did my 8min Ab workout today. It is so quick that there is no reason I can't do it every day. Since I'm working from home tomorrow I plan to do a longer workout to include cardio! |

Hi. Back from my 4 day weekend, during which I accomplished absolutely nothing. I have to figure out why I'm stalling, hunt it down and kill it so I can get this show on the road.
And drumroll...single digits until I reach my goal. And keep on keepin on everybody, sounds everyone's really on a roll. |

Wow, everyone is doing SO well!
Yay girls!I suck. I gained 4.5lbs over the long weekend. I was really active but ate terribly. Got rid of two of those lbs yesterday, but I've been doing so bad yesterday and today. It's totally emotion eating. I have no excuse or need to wonder-I get bummed and stuff my face.. I had pizza for lunch (uggg, feeling a little sick to my tummy now) so I'm hoping I can balance with a small salad for dinner.Wow, you all are really starting to see some great results! Taking dresses in, wearing old rings, single digits, etc. I'm so proud! Keep up the good work. I'm feeling more motivated already. |

Thanks y'all! I know, I can hardly believe it either.
I was in a nightgown in the garage the other day, and have the old waterbed headboard standing up against the wall, and it, of course, has a mirror in it...LOL! Anyway, I was standing there posing and going 'damn I'm skinny. How the hell did this happen'. Doing odd things. It's WEIRD...the psychology of this is going to take a while to sink in. Yeah, Bina, it's harder at home. Hey Rhea, so you weighed in at the beginning of the weekend, then again at the end? Not the same circumstances, weigh-ins should be always under the same circumstances -- bad Xena, get off the scale. *bad* That's good that you are feeling inspired though. |
