Cassie - congrats on the loss! What did you eat?

Bina - we won't have any treats tomorrow, OK?

Karen - I was going to suggest this to you, b/c a few weeks ago you were asking how to lose 5 lbs. I think it's the reason I didn't gain on vacation. I have been deliberately leaving 2 bites of everything on my plate at every meal. DH always does this (he is SKINNY) and he says it's because he knows when he is satisfied. I don't know when I'm satisfied so I'm pretending I know - and I really don't miss those 2 bites.

kelly-I have to try that. I bet it helps to mentally re-train yourself to feel full? I don't know, but now that I think of it dh often leaves food on his plate. I never do I guess that explains alot.

bina-I'm an emotional eater too. It is hard to re-train yourself. The personal trainer is part of the original gym membership. It is working out well and helping me to stay on track. I'm gonna join the "biggest loser" club in August. You sign up and most of the $ goes into a pot for the winner, the rest goes to more additional training. Dh said I should go for it and if I were to win, even better. But I just want the challenge.

cassie-Okay, I wish I were you tonight. Karen don't throw things at me either. I think it is good to have the occassional one meal off. My old trainer use to tell me it shakes things up for your body and keeps it guessing.

Kelly - I stuck to my 25 pts and drank lots of water. I eat a good bit of fruits and veggies. We had eggs a few times, high fiber oatmeal...Smart ones frozen dinners.

Robin - Thanks!

Well if you guys haven't noticed my avatar...LOOK NOW!

I am going to continue with WW, there is a program/points for pg people. I am hoping this will help me not gain SO much weight! I am only 9 lbs shy of 200 lbs and I want it to take a LONG time for me to get there, if ever!

Kelly and Vicki-knowing when I'm satisfied is my problem too. I read a book about the secrets of skinny people and it was all about knowing how to rate your hunger on a scale of 1-10 and to never let yourself get to a 1 (starving), but to stop eating when you are "satisfied" rather than feeling really full.

Cassie-I never knew they had a WW program for preggos. Good for you for sticking with it!

Bina - our meeting leader is pg right now. She used to be really heavy and she looks great preggo right now! You know how they say you only need like 300 extra cals a day. Well on my slider I did 300 cal. 0 fat, 0 fiber and it's like 6 more pts. So they probably figured it something like that...They even have it for BF'ing moms! So I'll check it out next week. But if I find I am really hungry I'll go over to make sure baby is happy!

Cassie- Congrats on the loss! Um, yeah I see that avatar-congrats, girl!..........now, if you'll follow me over to the TTC thread, it's time for your stoning . That's awsome to hear WW has a program for PG. I had that discussion w/ DH, that if I do get PG I would still want to try to lose a little (or at least not gain) for the early months.

Bina- Oh, girl I hear ya on emotional eating and AF....That sono didn't contribute to the carrot cake, did it? {hugs}

Mel- I am SO proud of you for going to the gym! I agree, that'll show capn. And you know, sometimes it takes the silliest thing to get our butts in gear. I think that dress is the perfect motivation.

I did pretty good yesterday, all things considered. I had lunch at a favorite place and only ate half of the taco salad (chicken, not beef) I did have chips and salsa(not guac or queso). SO, while not a "supe model" meal, I think it's a step in the right direction. Dinner DH and I went out . But I only had the grilled chicken salad (not the normal double bacon cheese burger). Baby steps for long term, right?

Cassie - OMG OMG OMG!!!!!! you I am so happy for you!!!!! You got your BFP really early. When I was pregnant with Lela I didn't gain much weight at all only about 14lbs and the last 7 lbs were in the last few weeks water weight and she was a HUGE baby. I think it is very possible to eat healthy and not gain a lot of weight.

CASS-- OMG more on the other side on that!!

Kelly - Thanks for the pointers and that would work BUT I always leave food on my plate. Dh says are you DONE? Then he eats the rest Darn men and their metabolism. I wouldn't say my dh is skinny but nice and toned. I wish I could say the same.

Okay AF showed up on me lastnight at dh's ballgame(great) so that is the reason for Debbie Downer today. I feel awful. I skipped the gym today needed to rest the Quad muscle anyway. Carter's legs were sore too so I let him skip his running program. We are vegging out today. I MIGHT do soemthing but I doubt it.

Claire-you know me too well! The carrot cake incident was the same day as the sono. What I didn't tell you is that I had TWO giant pieces of cake (not at the same time, one was later in the day) lol. And yesterday's cookies-well I they were right in front of me during a meeting.

Bina- Ugg, so hard when those things are sitting there in boring meetings. And I'm waving my magic wand so that the carrot cake is calorie-free....you had a good excuse.

Karen- Ouch and more ouch. Take a mental/rest day!

Cassie ~ Congrats!

Claire ~ LOL, you’re so bad!

I had a little proud moment last night. Cap’n and I went to see a house at 8 last night and when we left he asked if I wanted to go out to dinner. I LOVE going out to eat and can you believe this? I turned him down! We drove home and I had a WW meal! I’m so proud of myself! I was thinking while driving home that I will want to wear this bridesmaid dress to Cap’ns annual Christmas party, I really like it.

Karen ~ Are you eating the Doritos in the banana sandwich???
