Kayla ~ I think as a woman, we all just feel "icky" every now and then...but you shouldn't feel like that all the time. Since you are eating healthy (and I assume taking vitamins with iron, etc) and you feel tired all the time, it may be time to ask your doctor about running a thyroid panel. Just an idea. HTH and I'm sorry about the migraine...when they made me puke I went to the ER for a pain med shot. (((hugs)))

I was going to say the same thing about the thyroid. Have you already had that test?

Karen- Thanks for attempting to kick me in the rear. I'm really thinking I need some pro help....I'm just not sure where to go . I really thought I could just be like Steph and muscle/willpower my way through this. But I'm thinking I need help. I just get so depressed over how I look and feel and then eat to try and feel better. This has spiraled out of control. It is utterly rediculous I've gotten this far.

kmreid- {hugs} hun. I understand how you feel......looks like I need to shoot your scale, too. How frustrating! That sucker is def broke.

Claire- Have you thought about trying the South Beach Diet. It is a healthier version of low carb and I found it easy to stick with and it showed quicker results which kept me motivated. I did it before I got married to lose 15 or so lbs. I love WW for long term though.. Good luck and I think pro help is always a good thing.

Claire - I feel like I could have written some of your posts. I also would get so upset about my weight and think oh well I am already fat so it won't hurt to eat another twinkie. Or I would get upset and just eat. I did this for about 7 yrs battling my eating addiction. I don't have a real answer as to why I am sticking to it this time. I know I must have started 100 diets over the last 7 yrs. I just got mad and this time I focused my anger on not overeating. I think the hardest thing is that if you smoke and want to quit to don't have to be around that but with food you have to eat everday so it makes it that much harder. One thing I found with WW is that because I am so overweight that I get so many points and I still get to snack a lot. Snacking is my hardest struggle. Also the meetings at WW has really helped me too. If you ever want to just talk more about this you can always PM.

Robin That post sounded like it was coming from a very determined woman! So proud of you!!! You are doing great!!!!

I am drinking TONS of water today! YAY me!!! I am also using all of my 25 points instead of 20 like I was doing for 2 weeks, it feels like freedom!!! Like I pretty much have a whole meal added to my day . I hope I show good weight loss! I know there was TONS of sodium in all those crabs this weekend so I am using the water to help flush all that out!!

Cassie- good job on the h20. I'm back to my water too today.....but I have to pee so much!

Robin- Thank you.

Christie- You know, I religiously avoid those diets with names like that-just cuz I'm hard headed! I don't know all that much about South Beach, but I know it's kinda like adkins, right?

The two times in my life I saw the most significant weight loss were 1. when I had my tonsils out and I was sick from the drugs. I lost a ton! 2. I just started counting calories and lost probably 20lbs- a few years ago. (and that's what I'm trying to do now).

Claire - WW and counting calories is kind of the same thing you are allowed so many calories we are allowed so many points, which are basically the same thing. Except Dietary fiber lowers the amount of points the food is so it helps you...WW is easier for me than just counting calories. I lost 32 lbs about 5 years ago. I didn't keep it off b/c I didn't change my lifestyle and that is truely what you have to do for long term sucess.

Drill Seargant..err I mean Karen-welcome back, we missed you and your kick-in-the-butts

Kayla-big *hugs* you are doing so awesome to have lost 57lbs!! Feeling bad from migraines certainly can't help You can always pm me if you need to vent. Does working out help you to feel better? BTW, Marika is just darling in your siggy pic.

Jenna-I wanna see a pic of you!!! you are doing so great!

Steph-yay for being gawked at! I may be weird, but I've always hated being stared at that way, makes me self-conscious.

Robin-you are so right about food addictions. Unfortunately we have to learn to live with food, unlike other addictions that you can give up forever.

I have been slacking this weekend and yesterday. No workouts or eating that great. AF is here which doesn't help in the craving department. But today I feel motivated again (I think I say that every day, lol) I WILL at least get my ab workout in.

Bina- I used to feel the same way about being ogled! Till it quit happening......funny how that works.

Cassie-Did your oldest sister have weight-loss surgery? What kind? I love the little boost on the scale from the water! I was 2lb less this AM!

Robin- I'm so with you on the tap water. So I've been buying Dasani bottled water. Its $$$ and those bottles sure are wasteful-but it's my little indulgence. Heck, I could drink a whole case a day for what I was spending on smokes.

I did really well yesterday. Hopefully I'm back on the wagon and over my little pity party. I spent a lot of time thinking about what has got me down and how to change it yesterday. So, at least I have a plan now. I'll try WW online. I did the one week trial. 31 points it gave me! I feel like that is way too much food!

Claire - yes she had the sleeve done just over a year ago and she has lost about 170 lbs. She has not had any sugeries yet to remove skin but she will need them. She is in the upper 190's right now. She still sticks to a low carb lifestyle and works out.

Cassie- Thanks for the info. My Dad is trying to get gastric bypass. He went to a clinic in El Paso and they ordered this enormous amount of tests. In addition, they wanted him to have filters put in his veins before they would operate. The catch? He can't find a surgeon to put these filters in b/c they all believe the filters to be too dangerous! .

So he is going to try to go to another clinic-I think in Denver. And don't even get me started about the trials with the insurance company
