My favorite quote of the day
Inside me lives a skinny woman crying to get out. But I can usually shut the bitch up with cookies.

WTG on the exercise girls!

I lost .6 lbs this week. I figured I wouldn't lose much cause AF is fixing to show. Oh well, at least I still lost a little.

I got to exercise this morning. 40 minutes cardio and 20 minutes weight training.

YAY Girls! This is SO great! I haven't worked out yet today but have everyday this week so that feels great. I do plan to though when the kiddos are in bed.

I will say to those of you that are upset with the scale...Mine is stuck too and I workout ALL THE TIME but I do know that muscle weighs more. You should be able to tell with clothes and things like that even though the scale isn't moving. I can't emphasize enough STAY OFF THE SCALE. Weigh once a week only. It only upsets you and de- motivates you. You are all doing so WELL!

I think I sound like a self appointed trainer...Sorry.

Phew!! We just got home from NASA's run/walk that was held today! We only did the 2K walk, but in 42 degrees and rain, I think that was enough. I am COLD!

Does major grocery shopping in high-heeled boots count as exercise? (and bringing in from car alone, and putting away...)

Just kidding.

I did go grocery shopping, and got a LOT of stuff, 2-3 times what I usually spend, because except for staples like milk and bread, I don't want to THINK about groceries for a couple weeks (maybe a month with what I got!). But I bought things to support my new dietary habits, as well as Danny's -- we're trying to make sure he gets more protein and whole grains, but he still needs a lot of carbs.

I am however, going to write a letter (email) to Gatorade today because of the 5 major stores I have gone shopping at in the past 6-8 weeks or so, I have been having more and more trouble finding the plain flavors of Gatorade in the 32oz bottles (I drink orange and fruit punch). And that annoys me, b/c it's really important to my new habits. Harumpf!

Steph~ Did you get in any exercise last night?

I did half an hour on the treadmill WITH the incline up (2.3 miles, 320 calories burned) . I didn't get in the ab workout. Oh, well. That's on the agenda for today.

I also weighed myself this morning....and was down 2 pounds! Woo-hoo to having 18 pregnancy pounds to go! i need to make a ticker once I have room in my siggie for it.

So I guess the grocery shopping doesn't count? LOL! Naw, I ran a lot of errands. I know, excuses, excuses. The weather turned again today, so I'm GETTING OUT THERE for a walk tomorrow (or tonight perhaps even).

I'm having my carnation shake, three slices of ww toast w/butter, and three little slices of those cracker cuts cheese.

Steph~ If you parked far away, I'd say grocery shopping counts.

Mere- Thats great you did that in the yucky weather!

Jenna- Yay for exercising today!!

Steph- LOL, you always crack me up! So we expect to see you post that you went on your walk!

Ok so this morning I did 45 minutes cardio, 15 minutes stregnth, and before I left the gym they were fixing to do a 15 minute ab class, so I did that too. Hope I'm sore tomorrow!

LOL! I was thinking more of the walking back and forth from the car to the kitchen lugging a months worth of groceries! Kidding, kidding...

Yes, ma'am Heather, but it won't be until Tuesday when I get back to work.

Steph, Really though that probably was a pretty good work out. Somewhere I saw what everyday things burn calorie wise and vacuuming does burn alot but then that would mena I would have to vacuum...JUST kidding but I do think we will give you half a point for that "workout"

Heather- That's my girl!! Good job...

Okay you girls have motivated me too....I am off to put RIley down for her afternoon nap and off to the workout room I go to SWEAT. I plan to do cardio like crazy and then a weight training workout with my trainer (dh)

I will update to let you know what all I do.

Thanks for this thread! I LOVE it and don't we all feel so good to add we did something??

ROFLMAO@ 1/2 a point! Gawd, Karen, you crack me up.

I'm wearing the suit that I had on in that picture with me, Lou, and Ashlyn and Aidyn, and it is just swallowing me up. The pants -- one of the girls at work told me I wasn't allowed to wear them anymore cause they look like shower curtains under the butt and backs of the thighs; and today I'm wearing them with the jacket, and the jacket is swallowing me too -- it's WAY too big. Time to retire this, I think.

But hey, on the upside, I'll have a bunch of 'maternity' clothes waiting for me when the time comes!

Steph - have someone take your pic in it today and then post them both side by side.
