WTG Jenna!!

Christie- Have fun today girl!

Kayla- You look great in that pic!! Good job!! I feel like I don't have many clothes either. I'm fixing to go shopping when spring gets here! Can't wait!!

So I went to the gym this morning and got my workout in! I can't wait till it warms up and time changes so I can take Lawson walking around the neighborhood after I get off work.

Edit ( removed blinkies from post)

I made some CT Support Team blinkies for everyone.
I started a sticky thread over here so everyone can find them better.

That's cute Tammy. I will add it to my spring siggy. LOL

Karen- I will PM you the website, but it is a local thing organized through a local shop. It does have the "schedule" on there for the walk to run group which I am in for learning how to run.

Heather- WTG! I am looking forward to spring too!

Heather ~ Good job getting your workout in!

Jenna ~ Ugh my butt has gotten flat since becoming a mommy! It was never big or round or anything, but it did have shape, now it is so flat. Guess I need to find me some hills!

Christie ~ It sounds like you are having a good time with the run group. Keep up the good work!

Christie you go girl running with DH!! Is he normally a runner? And is he losing weight too?? That is great!

That stinks that the site is only a local thing. I wonder how I would find one in my area or if there is anything like it...I looked on meetup.com but no luck. How did you discover it is my question.

Ok, so last night I did my two miles again on the treadmill with the incline high, then this morning I did my turbo jam video! YAY for two work outs in for this week already!

Heather~ YAY for getting your exercise in!

Christie~ Glad you and DH got to run. Fun, fun.

My goal is 5 workouts this week. I would REALLY like to lose another 2 pounds, but I won't hold my breath since AF is supposed to be here in a week from today.

Karen- I heard about it word of mouth from a friend. Sorry.. not much help. But I will ask them if there is a way to know if they are in other areas.

Jenna- Way to go girl! That's great!

I added on an abs workout.. just a short one. But, still anything helps right?

Christie- Looks like I may have to start one of mine to get one around here. Only a joke. No time for anything else. But I wonder if any of the gyms will know of anything like that? I have a girlfriend that does marketing for the Y maybe I will ask her. Her mom does alot of the fitness classes to so maybe I could ask her also. I only have one runner friend who is a personal trainer so I will also ask her. Hey if I move to Atlanta maybe they will h ave something like that? And yes any Ab workout is better than nothing.

I haven't worked out for TWO days. UGH. Yesterday I cleaned ALLDAY and took care of the two kids so I am thinking I may have burned some calories vacuuming and going up and down stairs and then mopping. Had to do something! But when Riles goes down for nap I am back at it today!

Jenna- you go GIRL! I am so proud of you. Don't worry you will lose some more weight this week! I know it!

You know, Jenna, I haven't noticed AF making a big difference one way or the other with my weight, but I've never been one to bloat and retain water, etc.

I'm steady at a pound a week. I walked three miles last Sunday and Monday, and then nothing this week. Cold, rainy, depressed, and not interested. Thought about it and tried to get motivated, but then I realized an important fact: I didn’t feel like it. And I was actually increasing my anxiety b/c I was trying to make myself go walk. SO, I gave myself permission to NOT walk this weekend.

My damn remote went out and I’m on new remote #3, trying to get a universal remote programmed to run the stupid TV and DVD player, so I haven’t been motivated to use my ball (only got to watch the DVD instructions once – just don’t know what I’m doing yet). My eating habits are doing well still. I fell off the wagon for a few days last week with not getting all my water in by the end of the evening, but I’m back on track. Still doing whole grain toast with carnation powder and 1% (now organic) milk in the morning, whole grains and protein in the daytime, usually a sandwich, cheese for a daytime snack, and protein and veggies at night. Last night for dinner, I had about 1/3lb seasoned hamburger patty, broiled in the toaster oven so the grease dripped off, probably 10 large cocktail shrimp with sauce, and a big pile of steamed spinach with a little butter and s/p. Oh yeah, I’m dieting…SO deprived…

One more pound to officially hit the big 5-0.

Thanks. I'm hoping the next 20-25 is going to take care of a lot of the 'tummy weight'. That's where it went when I originally put the weight on. I remember the weight range, b/c it was the first time I'd put on weight or changed sizes in a long time. I remember about ten years ago (sitting on the throne, actually ), the year I simultaneously quit smoking and got dumped by a guy I'd known for years (bad combo -- I'm being careful this time) and looking down and noticing I had tummy rolls, and being like 'WTF? Where did THAT come from?!?' I was living alone; I'd been over-eating a lot. I've never been a little gal, but everything had always been pretty smooth, no lumps or bumps, etc.

Here's hoping

I went to the Y and took a 1 hr. aerobics class that kicked my butt. We used a step, medicine ball, elastic band, bosu ball, big ball, 2 sizes of weights and a mat. WHEW. I am hurting! But, it was good!
