I didn't get a workout this weekend......well, I had to chase, tackle, then wrestle matches away from my 2 yr old nephew, does that count?

I did send back the bathing suit bottoms and ordered the next size up. I hope it fits, or else I'm gonna feel depressed if I have to go up another size!

Mere- I wear a size 4 or 6 consistently and I always have to get a Med or size 8 bathing suit. They are jsut made SMALL or it is the material so don't feel bad AT ALL! And yes any physical activity you did this weekend counts.

Tammi way to go on the walk!

I got my workout in today. Did intervals on the treadmill(sprints, speedwalking with weights and then jogging) for 20 minutes then rode the bike 6 miles and then abs. Tonight is dh's and my weight training night after the kids go to bed since he has a coaches meeting for baseball tonight at six. So I was glad I got the cardio out of the way! Boy does it feel great when it is all over with!

Keep up the good work girls. Oh and Jenna I saw a turbo jams video commercial a few minutes ago and it looks FUN! Get down girl!

Checking up -- good job everyone. Down another 1 lb (maybe more, the scale was acting weird), and I've started my three mile walks again, yesterday and Sunday. For reasons I won't go into, I probably won't have much trouble keeping that going every night; it takes about an hour.

Might not be around much, but I'll be thinking of you.

I'm in the didnt-get-to-workout-this-weekend club too! BUT we did go for a walk both Saturday and Sunday since the weather was so nice so I guess that counts for something!

I am still down 2lbs!

If it turns out that I am PG, I will have to drop out of this thread for obvious reasons, but of course will check in to encourage everyone!

I haven't worked out yet today but I do have on my workout clothes for after the kids go to bed...I have been out all day running errands and had an appt so I will get to it....Dh has a dinner meeting so I am solo with the kids for baths and dinner...After that if there is any energy left I will workout.

I did 2 miles on the treadmill last night. I'm going to do turbojam tonight and watch American Idol. Can't wait!

I only got to work out Saturday. Since Lawson and dh were sick, it was hard to get it done. This weekend I should be able to do my usual, Friday thru Sunday routine. Maybe the scales won't go up these week.

I am trying to lose 20 lbs but I keep gaining weight instead. 9 years ago I weighed in at 128 lbs then I met this guy who was a fast food junkie and I gained weight to 145 lbs. When I met dh I lost the 5 lbs and have stayed at that weight for the past 8 years. NOW I am trying to lose weight and am gaining weight. I now weigh in at 150 lbs. and can't lose it. I walk on a treadmill for half hour and walk over 2 miles. Then I do my crunches and cardio then I ride a bike for half an hour and put in 4 miles but no loss of weight.

Sweetpea- Good luck! Excercise alone is never enough for me. I have to watch what I eat too. Weightwatchers works for me. Just thought I'd share.

Karen- Hope mommy got some me time last night!

I did an hour workout on Fittv and I am SORE today. Means it is working right?

Well I dont' eat breakfast as I get up to dang early. As far as dinner and supper I am only eating a salad with a small sandwich if that. I am lucky if I am eating 1200 calories.

Sweetpea-No breakfast? BIG no no. Grab some granola bars or Carnation instant breakfast you HAVE to make time for something so your body gets your metabolism started. Do you drink soft drinks? Don't get discouraged. You are doing great by working out. Maybe you need to step it up a bit. What is your heartrate like?

Jenna way to go on working out! You are doing great momma!

Christie- NO me time lastnight. Got the kids in bed by 8:30 then dh walked in ans we started talking then it ws 9 and I was beat so I sat down on the couch and watched American Idol then was so ready for night night. Hopefully after Riley goes down for nap before all my other stuff today...Life is good?

Sweetpea~ I agree with Karen, your body NEEDS breakfast - that is the most important meal of the day! good job on your work outs. I hope the weight starts coming off soon.

Ok, so I did my treadmill last night instead. I actually got up the energy to JOG! I didn't think I could do it. dh turned the tv on to distract me, and I looked down and I'd already been jogging for 15 minutes! I had no idea I could do that! It felt great. I'm usually a speed walker, so it really took me by suprise. I'll probably try again later in the week. I'll be super busy the next few days.

Jenna that is how it happens! You jsut build up your time and endurance. WAY TO GO! That is awesome! Oh and I could NEVER do it without tv. Outside is one thing but running inside is so BORING! UGH!

I did a 1 mile walk with DH, Charlie and the dogs. I carried 24lbs of Charlie in the snugglie.. that's got to count for something. LOL
