Karen- When you eat a healthy meal and excercise there is nothing wrong with a little treat.

So today will be a big step in running. Interval is 5 min. running 3 min walking, 5 sets. I have never run for 5 straight minutes before so this should be interesting. I'll let yall know about that and WW around lunchtime. See ya!

Christie YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my! Such progress!!!

It is slightly warmer here today 52..so I ran 4.5 miles. I did a few extra hills man it felt great to crank up the IPOD and think of NOTHING but running! The fresh air did me some good too I think. I would have kept going but my feet started hurting...Time for new sneakers. Always an indication!

What kind of running shoes does everyone use? I have used them ALL but am trying to find THE pair? Dh prefers Asics Gel Nimbus but I don't like how they feel...HMM gotta find osme new ones fast!

*Steph snorts gatorade out her nose when Karen asks about the type of running shoes we wear* Uuuuuh...not so much the runner here -- I'd have to have a friend run along beside me to hold my boobs in place.

BTW, I'm wearing my size 14 slacks I bought last week that were really snug. I put them on this morning and was like...'oh yeah, I can wear these'. And I don't even have a long shirt on. I have a size medium purplish V neck tank top on under a fitted black blouse, only the middle button done, and the sleeves rolled up to 3/4 length. Yay me.

We need to start a March thread.

Karen ~ Even though I don't run now, I ran a LOT in high school and college (was even an all-stater in high school). Anyways, new balance always fit my feet well for distance running.

Steph ~ LOL at the boobies. Your outfit sounds so cute and trendy. I need a wardrobe change. I wear jeans, a t-shirt and tennis shoes pretty much everyday! When we do rounds at clinics we have the option of wearing scrubs and our white coat or slacks/button shirts and our white coat. You better believe I ALWAYS wear the scrubs, lol!

LOL@Karen running her boobs off. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you snap-happy freaks. Someone come down and take pictures then. I have some cute new clothes and shoes. Finally went and spent most of my Santa money at Kohl's and Dillards, since my clothes were swallowing me.

Kayla ~ It's been so difficult to find clothes that fit me right for such a long time -- I've been too big to be small. Like I have a lot of shape, but being heavier, clothes become like...tents with no shape. It sucks, cause if I don't have on a fitted shirt, my boobs hold it out and you can't see the definition of the teeny waist. Pants it's ALWAYS been if they fit me in the hips and butt, they're way too big in the waist. I'm the classic 'exaggerated hourglass' figure. Let me tell ya, it sucks trying to find good looking clothes for that kind of figure. Especially with no money. Ooooh, that's what I need to start this week; a waist measurement to add to my weigh-in. I have a tape measure. 'Cause I used to have a tiny waist. When I was in high school, and just after, I was a 34-26-42. And that was at a size 13/14. I'm interested to see what my waist is now. I'd kill for that 26 inch waist again. Actually, that list (things I'd kill for) is pretty short at this point, but the skinny-me is on it. And I want to win the lottery (just a million, and I'd cash out; I could do a lot with 500 grand). And I want to erase the past 14 months. And a few other things. Babble-fest 2008 here...

Steph ~ hehe I understand. I HATE a square looking shirt. Nothing will make me more in a bad mood. Like you said, what's the point of having a waist to wear a square? I am finding that my shirts are stretching out in the waist b/c I bf and through out the day will get bigger in the tummy...grrrrrr! I don't like button shirts though, collars also make me in a bad mood. haha Get yourself one of those cheap digi cameras from Wal-Mart. You will LOVE seeing yourself transform, and if you misbehave it will help get you back in gear. That is what I am *hoping* for by taking pics every month.

I have had to start eating more these past couple of days though....the weight is just falling off a little more quickly than I would like and I am paranoid about losing my milk supply. This morning I weighed in at 7 lbs lighter than pre-preg...still 2 lbs from where I want to be but I don't want it to happen too quickly if that makes any sense. I bet I gain when I wean though and I will need your support then to NOT eat like I have been!!!
