YAY Christie you should be proud! that is GREAT!
Jenna woohoo to 3 workouts already. My goal for this week is also 5 and I have been able to get in 3 so far with the chaos and dh being gone so I am pretty excited about that. However I have almost ate ALL the girl scout cookies and that I am not too proud of.. Kelly I agree with Christie. We all backslide...Jump back in. K gotta get out of these sweaty clothes and get ready to run errands. |

Christie ~ WTG on 30 min! I too like the elliptical the best as far as workout machinary goes. As far as DP goes, I think diet is yuck but I would just rather not have any in the house and only have it on dinner outings or whatever. It is DH that is now addicted so he buys it for the house, lol. I had a cup of coffee as my caffeine fix this morning (usually have a DP). I put a little creamer in it but I figure that is a lot less calories and sugar than a DP. Okay, that was a long explanation of a simple: no, I don't like diet.

Oh, there's not nearly as many cookies in each box as there used to be...
Jeez, when I used to sell them as a little kid, they were about $.75 a box! People used to order cases instead of boxes. Jenna ~ There's a picture of me from last year with Lou and the twins somewhere around here, that's the most recent one, and there' are the ones from my wedding in my thread in the lounge from a while back. I don't have a digital camera anymore, gotta get another someday here soon, so I can't take any pix for you. |

Kayla- You are a riot. I used to hate diet pepsi. Then, my roommate in college only drank diet and we shared the box so I learned to drink it. Now I HATE regular coke/pepsi. I didn't drink any soft drinks at all when I was pg (well, maybe 2.. lol) because I don't like the regular ones. You can also get those flavored creamers in low fat at the grocery store. They are yummy.

I LIVE off off fat free hazelnut/vanilla creamer!!! OMG I have to have it. I justify it by saying well this way I don't add sugar
Not quite a fix but I have to have some enjoyment...That is how I feel about dessert. I don't drink, smoke or do drugs you gotta have some addiction right?Steph good to see you on. Boy have I missed you!!!! |

Karen- I love those coffee creamers. I love the special ones they put out at Christmas too.
Last night I did the arm workout portion of my FitTV workout. I have been using canned goods (LOL) until I could find some weights. Last night I did it with 3lb. weights and used a 5lb. weight for the tricep excercises. Definitely worked me harder. I also did the ab portion. Today, DH and I have intervals to do and then tomorrow and our running group we are doing 5 minutes straight of running.. should be a challenge. I'll let yall know how that goes and how my weigh in goes. I was 153 this morning at home so we shall see if I lost any at WW. |

UGh it is like everyone KNOWS when it is my free time and i am working out. The phone ALWAYS rings. MIL called wanted to chit chat then Darren called then my friend Ann.. Finally I gave up because Riles should be up any minute. Only got in a 20 minute run then a 15 minute rock steady ab workout but still better than nothing. Right? I really wasn't into it today. Really missing the gym and change of scenery. I like to watch people while I workout and I also miss the class atmosphere. Just one of those days. Maybe tomorrow will be better since dh will be here.
Does anyone else weigh more then they work out and you weigh less by like three or four pounds? Weird! |

Christie and Kayla-I am a diet Coke FREAK! I gave it up while PG, and would drink regular cokes from time to time but they were way too sweet. When I went back to diet cokes I had to get used to the diet taste all over again! Coke Zero is the best though. Although I know all those chemicals are bad so I'm trying to cut down.
keep up the good work girls! I weighed today and was 165lbs so at least I haven't gained during the time I slacked off. Does anyone else feel that their metabolism slowed down after having a baby? I mean, I used to be able to eat just about anything and not gain, now not so much. Or it could just be that I am getting old, lol. |

Karen- That is better that nothing!! Maybe you'll get in a better workout tomorrow! Oh, BTW, I have girl scout cookies here too. I have had my share of them too!! ![]() I lost 1.6lbs this morning!! I also went to the gym. 30 minutes walking/running on the treadmill and 15 minutes on the bike. Worked my chest/tri's with weights too. I ran out of time but got in a few ab exerisces so I will do more tonight after Lawson goes to bed. |

Karen~ Something is better than nothing. Good job! I ordered 7 boxes of girl scout cookies! I'll have to make DH hide them from me and ration them out. I did my turbojam again last night! Boy are my arms and legs feeling it today! YAY! 4 workouts in so far this week. I'll either do one tonight or tomorrow morning, so I'll FINALLY have in my 5 for the week. Weigh in is on Sunday. I'm really hoping to be down 2 pounds. Then I'll only have 10 baby pounds left! |
