Karen, I have the turbo jam with the gloves and it is really hard with them (Jenna you should get the gloves it makes the workout so much more effective) I plan on having abs like that this summer, Dave and I are thinking about taking a cruise and I would love for people to look shocked when I tell them I have three kids, so my goal is to have those abs.

Me too Lisa! I already think you are smokin! as in HOT momma~

Okay girls dh is gone ALL week and that leaves me with TONS of responsibility including our diabetic dog... SO I vow to workout at least five days this week. I am going to make time for it. And besides dh left me here with two boxes of girl scout cookies which realistically i KNOW I will eat so if I workout extra hard maybe it won't be too bad.

Riley is down I am tying my sneakers up...Time to get to it for day #1!

Go Karen GO! I have to run 10 intervals of 1 min. walk/1 min. run today. Hopefully I can squeeze it in between subbing half of a day and tutoring.. and cooking dinner for my mom tonight (DH has guys basketball night tonight so he isn't home for dinner)

Christie I hope you got in your intervals!!

I got a workout in afterall and so for that I feel great! I did 20 min sprints on the treadmill then 30 on the bike (competition program so mostly really high resistance) Then my jumping jacks and kicks and leg lifts then did a ab workout on Fittv. Of course Riley was awake when I got through but she wasn't crying so that was okay.

Karen- Awesome work out girl. I am going to postpone intervals until tomorrow so DH can do it with me. He has basketball tonight. I am going to do a FitTV workout instead though. I'll report later.

Lisa~ I'll look into the gloves. I don't think I'll ever have nice abs, though. I'd need a tummy tuck first!

Jenna- How did the treadmill go?

I did a 30 min. Gilad thighs, shoulders and abs workout and then an extra 10 minutes of abs. The great thing is I have gotten where I can "do" the whole abs workout.. time to pump it up!

Treadmill was good! I actually jogged most of it, with the incline on 5 so my bum and thighs are feeling it today. Ouch. I really need to start doing an ab workout every day. This flubber tummy really needs to tighten up some!!

Keep up the good work everyone!

Well...(drum roll)...down three pounds! That mean I've officially crossed the 50lb mark! Can't update my ticker right now, but it will read 52lbs lost 30lbs to go! I'm 215 now, which I haven't been in ten years. It was ten years ago the first time I quit smoking; I put on about 40lbs in less than a year, and 215 was in the middle of that.

I actually bought a pair of size 14 slacks yesterday. They're pretty snug (okay, they're real snug, especially around the waist), but most 16's are either just right or too big in some places, and I can't justify spending the money on clothes that I'll only fit into for a couple weeks, so I figured I'd get 14's. I also bought a few large (not extra large -- don't forget about the jumbo sized boobs I have), and even a few MEDIUM tops *shock*. Yay. I'm pretty psyched now, cause I've run out of old 'small' clothes to get back into. From here on out, it's NEW smaller stuff. I can still get away with the 16's fine for the most part, and even a few of my 18's, but I don't think that's going to last more than a few weeks. Most of the 18's and all the 20's look like I'm wearing someone elses clothes and it's ridiculous, so for the first time in my life, I purged my closet yesterday of things I can't wear because they're TOO BIG! Amazing...I think I'm my own hero this week. Even though I haven't been exercising. I'm just not up to it right now. And I can't find a remote to work my DVD player so I can play with my ball. But Hell, with this progress, I can live with the lack of exercise for a while longer.

Ok, I have been so bad these last couple of weeks that I haven't even been keeping up with this thread, let alone working out BUT you gals have inspired me to get back on track! Once I'm done "working" at 4pm, and dinner is already taken care of, I AM WORKING OUT!!!

Christie-I love Gilad's workouts, Gilad himself isn't bad either, lol. WTG on almost reaching your goal weight.

Jenna-you are doing awesome! If you keep it up you will lost that weight in no time.

Karen-you sister, are the fitness guru around here!!!

I did a half hour toning/strength workout from FitTV, at least it is a start! Avery was cracking us up, she was climbing all over and under me, at one point I was in a push up position and she came and lay her head down on my butt and was hugging me.

Christie- You are doing so good! When do you usually weigh in?

Jenna- WTG on your workouts!

Kelly- You can do it, like Christie said, everyone gets into a slump.

I plan on going to dh's work and get on the treadmill or elliptical after I get off of work. I can do that and dh can spend a little time with Lawson!
