Christie- Wow, that does sound close!! Yay!! I think my next pregnancy I'm going to try to keep working out and not gain near as much weight. Hopefully I can do that!

Jenna- Your hair looks good!!

Bina- Good job on your workout last night!

Sarah- What a good idea. I need to try that, it sounds good!

Kayla- Hang in there, AF does that to all of us! Sometimes I feel like I'm eating everything in sight when AF is around.

I did my running last night. I did 35 minutes total and I ran 30 minutes of it! I was so proud of myself. Today when I get off of work, I'm going to dh's work to workout. (if all goes as planned!)

WTG Heather! I was lucky, my weight gain was low. I wonder if next time it will be higher? Especially if I am pg with a girl and there are different hormones?

Thanks a bunch girls. I feel better today because I managed to weigh myself (it has been over a week) and I have not actually gained any weight. I made sure to eat a more satisfying lunch today and I am going to get out of the house to avoid temptations. It seems like if I am away from home, I am less likely to snack on junk food. I have found that if I am going to be out long enough that I look up one of my favorite restaurants online and look at their nutritional guide. Chrystie listed some Taco Bell foods (I LOVE TACO BELL) and I have found that you can order quite a number of things if you order them Fresco Style such as a Taco Supreme and Pintos and Cheese for 270 calories. You can have a Honey BBQ snacker and green beans for 260 calories from KFC, a plain grilled chicken sandwich and a Caesar side salad (with LIGHT dressing) from Wendy's for less than 350 calories, and it is a little higher in calories but you can have an Arby's Melt and baked chips for about 400 calories. OHHHH....if you ever eat at Arby's stay away from their wraps and "healthy-looking" sandwiches, the calories in them will make your jaw drop. Here is the link.... Nutrition Calculator
I always do my research before eating out. NOW if I can just keep a lid on it.

Steph - I am proud of you for holding on like you have. I know how hard it is.

Thanks, Kayla. *sniffle* I'm having a down day -- so tired.

Re: Arby's and points; I used to have an Arby's Giant RB, plain for dinner, with a diet Dr. Pepper (one of the only diet sodas I liked) a lot when I did WW a/b 6 years ago -- I don't remember the points, but it must have been a good choice, and it is certainly big enough to be filling and stick with you. Sometimes even now, if I'm in a situation where I HAVE to eat fast food, I'll get a regular RB. But I normally go to Subway and get an Italian BMT on wheat, no cheese (ever notice you can't TASTE the cheese they have at Subway anyway?), with spinach, pickles and cucumbers, pepper with no salt, and italian dressing.

Matter of fact, I might have that today for lunch.

Actually, I think I still have those books; I have the general points one, and the dining out guide. If I can find them, someone can have them.

Sarah – congrats on joining WW. How’s it going? The first week is always the hardest for me, then it gets easier. When I first started WW and was nursing, there were days, like growth spurts, when I had to eat a little more, but then the next day was always better.

Steph – you laughed at me when I said you’d be in a 0 one day, but I may not be that far off. WHERE ARE THOSE PICS?????

Kayla – I definitely have days (PMS or not), when I want to eat anything I can get my hands on. Taking Hannah for a walk or going up to her room are the best things I can do to separate myself from the food. And getting something “exciting” to drink, like Gatorade or Diet Coke. And like Steph has mentioned, eating a “real meal” so I know I’m not physically hungry.

Heather – I always talk a/b how I won’t gain as much next pg – let’s see if it really happens.

I already worked out this morning. Wonder if that is why I was so hungry at lunch today? But DH will work late tonight, so I'll probably just eat a frozen meal or soup and a salad. Maybe if I want to be sweet, I'll make him beef stroganoff later - I don't like it so it doesn't tempt me. He is being a big jerk today. We had a great weekend and I got a lot of time to myself, so I actually initiated BD Sunday night - and I ENJOYED it! Today he's freaking out a/b the house being messy - well clean it up , or deal with it.

Oh, man. A 20 pound weight gain with a baby? HA! If only. I had a girl and gained 57 pounds! At least I only have a few pounds left to lose. I would LOVE to only gain about 35 pounds next time. (i know myself to well to think I'd ever only gain about 20. )

So even though I'm not feeling great, I did a 20 minute turbo jam video last night. I took it a little easy, but at least I did something.

My friend who just had an 11lb baby, only gained 12lbs, even being a week overdue. She has now lost close to 30lbs since he was born!! She was overweight to begin with, but STILL!

I think pregnancy was the only time that my chocolate cravings went DOWN. Fruit sounded much better to me, lol. Otherwise, I ate what I normally ate. I was the pregnant woman everyone hated because I felt so good the whole PG, didn't gain much weight, and then thought my contractions were just food poisoning, lol.

Heather, it is an official diet rule that cake on your birthday does NOT count. No matter how many pieces or what kind. Happy birthday, dear.

Heather~ Enjoy the cake! Happy Birthday! (My birthday is on Monday! )

Bina~ Holy cow about your friend. I am jealous.

When I got pregnant I didn't get ms, I got HUNGRY. I've never been that hungry in my life. And unfortunatly I have a crappy metabolism so I gain weight easily. But I did feel good for most of my pregnancy, so I can't complain.
